B-Fit CrossFit South's trainers take in students who are bored with their workouts?or maybe haven't ever really worked out. They teach these students the functional movements of CrossFit, designed to help people tackle any daily challenge with speed and strength. Their particular skill, though, lies in keeping students engaged.
The coaches mine every form of motivation they can. They change up the
routine daily, targeting different muscle groups with a range of exercises. In addition to providing a supportive, positive environment for students, they turn workouts into a bit of a competition. They maintain a leaderboard, posting the number of repetitions of each exercise that every student manages to complete. There's no prize for winning, other than pride, temporary bragging rights, and a full 24 hours of being able to scare any piece of gym equipment just by looking at it.
