Swimming, football, basketball, tennis, and golf are all very different sports, requiring very different skills. But at Mclimited4Sports, coach and accomplished athlete Johnny Mcclenton—who has spent time in NBA organizations and as a member of the Junior Davis Cup team—schools young athletes in each of the above sports by boiling things down to the basics and focusing on fundamentals. During basketball lessons, for instance, Coach Johnny has students practice ball handling and defense; during golf lessons, they work on posture and balance. Coach Johnny strives to keeps his curriculum flexible, and puts an emphasis on maintaining a personal connection with his students to better understand their goals and aspirations.
The home of its titular pro soccer team, the Atlanta Silverbacks Camps arranges four full-sized fields around a sprawling, 48,000-foot indoor facility. When the team isn’t defending its home turf, the 5,000-seat stadium sits open for use by other local teams, including the Atlanta Renegades Rugby Club, local high school teams, and professional field-rushing squads. Nets and glass surround two enclosed fields, which often host indoor soccer and flag football games. The complex also houses a 50-seat event room capable of containing meetings, parties, and seminars.
Kinetic Prototype's trainers believe the difference between an average athletic performance and an outstanding one is found in the player's movements. In each fitness-training session, they focus on exercises that have particular benefits in the sports and positions their clients play. Swimmers can sharpen their breaststrokes through body-resistance exercises and endurance training, and softball catchers can put extra oomph in their home-base throws with strength-training regimens.
"Our mission is to push elite athletes to perform at their best, empowering them to excel at the next level of competition." For CES Performance, mission and action are one in the same. During intense sessions, trainers arm athletes with sport-specific techniques that increase their skills and confidence in basketball, soccer, lacrosse, and professional-level hide-and-seek.
Wall to Wall Sports Center's tree-lined facility stages athletic activities on a quartet of 40-by-25-yard artificial turf courts and a 70-by-50-yard grass field. Experienced coaches preach fundamentals during soccer, lacrosse, and multi-point camps that include flag football, handball, backyard baseball, and zero-gravity dodgeball. Seasonal leagues for children and adults pit teams against similarly skilled players during friendly, spirited competitions. The facility augments pre- and post-game play with locker rooms, a café, and an air-conditioned clubhouse with video games.
