Throughout the day, feet pound the floors of Dancefx to a multitude of classic and modern beats. With a packed schedule of classes, including adult hip hop and kids’ jazz, the non-profit studio uses dance to benefit the community, directing its proceeds towards an array of local charities. In addition to classes, Dancefx sponsors four separate dance companies and hosts summer camps, private lessons, and birthday parties.
The environmentally themed Allegreen's three stages showcase more than 50 performers and bands, drawing from a massive range of genres, including rock, bluegrass, hip-hop, dubstep, and more. Three stages will bustle with artists including That 1 Guy, Almost Kings, and Brock Butler of Perpetual Groove, as well as live comedians. After sating audio appetites, visitors can revel in performances by glassblowers, motorcycle stunt devils, and ill-fated glass motorcycle stunt devils. Flanking the festival's two outdoor stages will be a bevy of vendors, artist workshops, disc-golf games, and a beer garden, and the indoor stage and bar will host danceable electronica performers, providing beats to accompany dancing or rhythmic beverage consumption. Though not included with today’s Groupon, cheery ear-hole-fillers can camp, park an RV, rent one of a limited number of cabins, or annex up to 5 acres as a sovereign country in Allegreen's 6,000-acre Durhamtown digs.
At Jones Dance Ballroom Studios, dancers of all skill levels teach their bodies to spin, shake, and shiver with the self-expressing movements of multiple dance styles, including tango, foxtrot, salsa, samba, West Coast swing, paso doble, merengue, and beyond. Up-and-coming motion maestros can begin their journey to stardom and dancing with a private lesson (a $75 value). During the 50-minute twinkle-toe tutorial, a skilled, supportive instructor will work one-on-one with you and carefully teach your feet how to woo the haughty ground with the stately swirls of a Viennese waltz, the dazzling blur of the quickstep, or the swiveling bobble-hips of the cha-cha. Once they've learned how to light up the dance floor with controlled-burn fires, students can showcase their sizzling steps to new dance partners during four 50-minute group classes (a $15 value each; check the calendar for more information about specific classes and times).

The history of today's Atlanta Braves traces back to 1876 in Boston, where the team played as the Red Stockings. In the more than 100 years since, the club lived like a nomadic tribe, claiming two World Series titles in separate cities before finally landing in Atlanta in 1966. There, they found reason to settle down, winning an unprecedented 14 consecutive division titles, as well as another World Series in 1995. Throughout the years, many of baseball's all-time greats have donned the Braves uniform, including Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth, and Cy Young. Opened in 1997, Turner Field serves as the club's home turf, relaying the action on a 29'x38' BravesVision video board as a 27' neon tomahawk menaces visiting players and vegetables alike.
