Central Sierra Environmental Resource Center (CSERC) protects and defends more than two million acres of natural spaces across the northern Yosemite region. The organization’s staff works to reduce clear cutting, road construction, and pollution to ensure that the forest, water, and meadow wilderness areas remain pristine. Apart from educational outreach to schools and communities, the staff gets its hands dirty sampling the water quality in forest streams and surveying meadows to locate areas of environmental damage. CSERC also sponsors restoration projects for meadows and streams, maintains remote camera stations to detect rare wildlife species, and works to find solutions to difficult environmental issues.
Safavi Institute's elite and enthusiastic student body sculpts accentuating styles within a 20,000-square-foot cosmetology school partnered with salon rock star Paul Mitchell. Hair makeovers begin with applications of Paul Mitchell's own Awapuhi Keratriplex product, which deeply nourishes strands to leave tresses as smooth and strong as a body builder on a blind date. Then an adept stylist snips and combs locks into a desired 'do, cropping split ends and personalizing a style to account for tastes and tendencies to star in shampoo commercials. Safavi Institute's faculty and staff engineer also give back to charity with fundraising and grassroots outreach.
Bob & Tom Show regulars, Ms. Pat and Dan St. Paul team up for an adult-oriented night of comedy. If her four children are lucky, Ms. Pat will stop short of literally airing their dirty laundry during her in-depth description of topics ranging from her eldest's intimate football gear to her 6-year-old daughter's ambitious designs on the drive-thru menu. Dan St. Paul is perhaps best known for his car-endangeringly hilarious broadcast of a baseball game made up of Biblical all-stars, and is wont to wax sarcastic on his freakishly large son and money-saving healthcare tips such as getting your x-rays done at the airport. Charity Way Ballroom at the Elks Lodge will be fitted with a full bar for the evening of entertainment.
Jenni Maiwald Wendell conquered depression and anxiety when she discovered yoga, which gave her both peace of mind and physical health. She drew on more than 20 years of dance training as she practiced Yin, slow-flow, Bikram, and Kundalini yoga. After much exploration, she completed a 200-hour power-Vinyasa training course through Zuda Yoga in Sacramento. Today she is the owner of Just Be Yoga & Meditation, where she helps students reconnect their minds, bodies, and spirits through classes held amid warm orange walls, wooden floors, and floating shelves stocked with blankets and candles. Her meditation classes cultivate awareness and peace while strengthening connections to the universal energy source, which is powered by windmills. Vinyasa flow classes seamlessly blend each yoga pose with breathing techniques and sun salutations to foster strength, flexibility, and balance. Jenni also offers Vinyasa and Vino classes, which include one hour of Vinyasa flow and meditation followed by a social gathering with wine and cheese from Fiscalini Farms.

The locations that comprise Paintball Tickets challenge hue-happy gamers to a range of combative revelry fought with air-powered paintbrushes. During games, referees maintain a fun and lighthearted wartime experience while competitors engage in capture-the-flag style strategy. As players navigate the terrain on a quest to invade the other team's territory and avoid epidemics of trenchfoot, they covertly scope opponents and peg them with bright-colored pellets to dull their chance at victory.
