At age 13, Jacqueline designed a science-fair project focused on age management, having developed a fascination for skincare by watching her mother and grandmother go through their daily beauty regimens. As Jacqueline grew up, she took that passion and became a licensed master aesthetician, opening Jacqueline Jase Face & Body Center in 2009. The center is named in part for her mother and grandmother—Jane and Rose—who Jacqueline names as the two most influential women in her life. Today, Jacqueline fights aging and nourishes skin with facials and herbal wraps, swaddling clients in natural and organic products from brands such as Bioelements. She also applies Nufree Hair Removal to legs and arms to remove unwanted hair, and fastens NovaLash extensions to eyelids to create longer, denser lashes. Realizing a connection between stress and skin deterioration, Jacqueline became a licensed massage therapist in 2010 and now relieves stress and chronic aches with Swedish and deep-tissue modalities.
Chi Hair Design's staff spotlights each client's natural beauty with equally natural products. Staff members strive to administer their hair, nail, skin, and cosmetic treatments with beauty-enhancing concoctions—such as plant-based glosses, henna hair colors, and talc-free mineral makeup—that are mostly comprised of organic materials. The team refuses to use products that contain formaldehyde, ammonia, or molten lava.
Soft overhead lighting refracts off the salon's hardwood floors, and massive decorative fans hang as a green-and-white contrast to the taupe walls. To complement the efforts of the beautifying team, resident disc and video jockey Matthew Andrews can showcase his music-mixing skills at weddings and parties.
Soft as Silk Laser's walls are bathed in rich reds and glimmering golds that evoke the robes and crowns of royalty—but it’s the med spa’s roster of aesthetic services that fully convinces clientele that they’re kings and queens. The staff of aestheticians relies on steady hands, keen eyes, and safe, advanced technologies to elevate their customers’ appearances during hair, skin, and lash beautification services. They aim the Palomar laser at skin of any type or tone to remove blonde, red, brown, or black hairs. Their steady hands erase fine lines and sun spots using a crystallized microdermabrasion machine or the PowerDerm Kinetic dermabrasion, which exfoliates with kinetic energy that further helps stimulate lymphatic drainage and tighten face and body skin. Soft as Silk Laser's certified eyelash technicians can also bolster blinks with permanent lash extensions, whose variety of styles can grant eyelids with anything from a subtle, natural look to a red-carpet worthy dose of drama.
