Doug Box, author of myriad photography-technique books, is one of 13 Kodak mentors and is the Executive Director of the Texas Professional Photographers Association. His co-teacher, Randy Kerr, heads World Photographic, which uses photography as a vehicle for illuminating humanitarian and environmental topics. Both men have been teaching photography classes for years and help amateurs take photos that capture piercing looks, toothy smiles, and elusive dodo sightings.
When Daniel Z. Smith Jr. enrolled in his first ballet class in 1998, he probably did so with some trepidation. The athlete had never danced before?his niche was practicing martial arts. But when fellow martial artists insisted dance would complement his main craft, Daniel took the plunge. Little did he know he would fall in love with dance. Today, Daniel is one of the passionate, experienced instructors at Art In Motion Academy of Dance. Each instructors boasts a unique history, and with it a talent for ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, or one of the other dance styles for both children and adults taught at the studio.
