At Lashes de Bella, aesthetician and lash specialist Michelle Flores augments sparse eye lines with volumizing lash extensions that are bonded in place one lash at a time. NovaLash medical-grade adhesive grounds the extensions, which range from synthetic styles to a high-gloss faux-mink fringe whose curled design is more lightweight than an invisible man's photo album. Because ocular enhancements keep time with lashes' natural life cycle, clients often schedule touchup appointments two, three, or four weeks after initial applications to keep peepers primped. Flores also de-fuzzes pelts with face and body waxing, from meticulous brow and lip pruning to full leg deforestation and design Brazilians.
When Jeff Hazzard was younger, he stayed in shape by playing sports year-round. But after he was done with sports, he realized that keeping fit and trim was a challenge, especially if he continued eating poorly without regular exercise. He researched ways to stay healthy, discovering his own path back to fitness, and the experience eventually led him to earn a degree in exercise science and open Jeff Hazzard Fitness. He conducts private and semiprivate personal-training sessions, nutritional coaching, and boot-camp programs small enough to offer individualized attention to participants.

When lifelong gymnast Natalie McKee first started teaching children gymnastics as a college student, it was more of a side job than a career. Her only goal was to pay her tuition. But that changed when Natalie realized that most gymnastics curriculums for kids suffered a fatal flaw. They all landed in one of two camps: either too structured, or not structured enough. Students were forced to choose one, leaving them either bored without challenges or frustrated by tasks they couldn't achieve. To solve this problem, Natalie opened Jump! Gymnastics, which strives to challenge each gymnast within his or her ability level in fun, engaging gymnastics programs for kids.
Each class, designed for children from 18 months to 12 years of age, builds upon the previous class's teachings, ensuring that gymnasts stay stimulated with new moves without feeling overwhelmed by the challenge. With the success of her gymnastics classes, Natalie also decided to foray into other children's activities, including after-school care that keeps kids active, preschool, camps, and birthday parties.
FIT Austin's trainers specialize in teaching classes on the TRX suspension system, which uses the student's own bodyweight to generate resistance. Instead of attempting to build bulky muscles, these workouts instead take a more balanced approach that helps attendees of all fitness levels strengthen their cores and limbs, increase their range of motion, and become more resistant to athletic injuries. When using one of the gym's 20 TRX stations or 11 Rip Trainer stations as part of a group class or personal-training session, students will learn how to use controlled, functional movements to engage the core and utilize muscles that are hard to target with a traditional weight training workout or a workout where all the weights have been replaced with lazy cats.
The instructors at Austin F.I.T. Boot Camps' three indoor locations lead intense, results-oriented boot-camp classes. During each session, the instructors combine resistance training, cardio, and plyometric exercises for full-body muscle building.
