Like so many others before her, Heather Craig found relief from her problems in exercise. After surviving a near-fatal bout with poly-cystic ovarian syndrome in her mid-20s, Heather found herself plagued by a lack of motivation and energy. By her early 30s, she knew something had to change. She forced herself to visit a gym, and soon she discovered Pilates. The impact it had on both her physical and mental well-being was immeasurable.
Now a Peak-certified Pilates instructor, Heather leads private lessons inside her cozy home studio. Thanks to her past, Heather has no problem relating to her clients and their diverse range of goals—she has to fight every day, too, to stay fit and motivated. So she’s created a space to do just that, complete with spots for mat work and a Pilates reformer. During sessions, Heather provides hands-on instruction, making sure to move at a comfortable pace and emphasize proper form with every exercise.
