For classes that incorporate live-fire training, Ready Learning Academy works out of their private shooting range in Georgetown, Texas.
Depending on the course, customers can rent 9 millimeter semi-automatic handguns such as a Ruger SR-9 or Glock 17/19, a tactical pump shotgun such as a Remington 870 or Mossberg 500, and an AR-15 such as a Colt LE 6920, Sig Sauer M400 or an LWRC M6. Models are subject to availability.
Ready Learning Academy's professionally trained instructors believe that responsible gun use comes from a solid foundation in shooting fundamentals. That's why the academy offers three levels of handgun, carbine, or rife and shotgun classes. During these sessions, instructors teach students of all experience levels on the fundamentals of stance, grip and hold, and trigger control. Pupils progress onto more advanced skills such as defensive tactics, cover and concealment, shooting while moving, and engaging multiple threats. Away from the range, the staff offers a variety of services including gunsmith tune-ups, sells firearms at its store and conducts self-defense courses.

Co-owners Kirk and Julie Leavell set out to make Wild Basin Fitness the antithesis of impersonal chain gyms. They're dedicated to fostering a comfortable and welcoming environment, where all of their clients feel like they can reach out for training advice and a personal connection. They have even let their exercisers determine the operating hours, class schedules, and instructor hairstyles at their two gym locations. Their team of experienced trainers subscribe to this personalized ideology during their custom personal-training sessions and in the more than 100 monthly fitness classes that accommodate an array of fitness interests such as yoga, boot camp, Pilates, Zumba, spin, and exercise programs for kids. Further beautifying bodies, patrons can lavish themselves at the spa, or make their beach-ready bod glow with tanning services.

The team is in the business revamping homes, whether they're applying a new coat of paint, creating custom-built cabinets, or patching up holes in walls from any failed attempts at creating secret passageways. Each of their jobs begins with a free estimate before work commences, and homeowners can check out the outfit's past handiwork by clicking here.
The sun or a flashbulb? Sierra Scott will definitely take the first over the latter, preferring to work with natural light and as little equipment as necessary. That doesn't mean she has abandoned technology, though. While keeping the tinkering limited, she still does some light retouching to get images just right. She snaps those images during portrait sessions for families, couples, and individuals, as well as during fashion and lifestyle shoots.
Coming from a large family of athletes, Tim Kaderli has made physical fitness a de facto part of his daily existence since he was a kid. He soon realized, however, that many others have never been exposed to the training techniques and nutritional habits that he relied on his entire life. This realization led him to found Synergy Fitness Boot Camp and to formulate his own methodology. Today, Kaderli aims to reach aspiring exercisers in three ways: fun and lighthearted fitness regimens, nutritional education, and motivational friendships between trainer and client. Joined by six other trainers, Tim meets with students morning, midday, and night at outdoor locations all over Austin, such as Milburn Community Park or Bee Cave Central Park. Alternatively, classes can convene at the Synergy High Intensity Training (HIT) Facilities, which provide students with equipment and shelter from the jealous glare of the sun—who will never be anything but an immobile ball of gaseous elements.
