Pricila Hidalgo-Liranzo began training for her career as a Zumba instructor virtually as soon as she could walk. She spent her whole life moving to the rhythms of Latin music, and found her passion in Zumba’s mix of international beats and cardio exercise. She helps students discover the same joy at Feel Good, Look Great. Pricila teaches one-hour classes either in classic total-cardio Zumba or Zumba Toning, the latter of which helps students tone muscle without having to do wind sprints in a soaking-wet gorilla costume.

At Limitless Fitness Studios, the motto is “live without limits,” but in order to do this, each athlete must follow the Limitless Code. Steeped in support and encouragement, the code includes tenets such as “never compromise form for speed,” “go hard or go home,” and even permits a little swearing as long as clients resolve to never quit. Clients employ the code during daily classes, which range from TRX suspension training and boot camp to Zumba, power yoga, and indoor cycling. Instructors also helm kickboxing classes, kettlebell training, ballet boot camps, and classes that focus specifically on building a strong core.

Photos of Heads & Tails Yoga chronicle the renovations that made it possible?from its start as an empty space to its development into a bright, spacious studio with a pleasantly minimalist scheme. Students strike poses and fold their mats into giant origami cranes on the light hardwood floor, following an instructor who leads them through classes that include Yoga Flow and Yoga 101. The studio focuses not only on yoga?s fitness benefits but also on connecting students? minds, bodies, and souls through mental and physical exercises including breath work and meditation. Participants with all levels of experience are invited to ?Show up! Sweat! And smile!?
Co-owners Patrick Cabello and Brian Cirillo have firsthand knowledge of what it takes to be inspired to get fit. Patrick learned how much dedication it takes when he transformed his body from 230 pounds with more than 25% body fat to a chiseled 185 pounds. Brian spent years as a personal trainer, spurring his students toward their fitness goals with enthusiasm. Today, the fitness gurus use their hard-won experience to handpick a fleet of instructors they determine to be friendly, focused, and charismatic enough to motivate exercisers toward their own personal transformations. Inside the 2,400-square-foot studio, the instructors lead hip-shaking Zumba classes to strengthen cores, spinning classes that whip hearts into a cardio frenzy, and kickboxing sessions to equip students with defensive moves and Rockette-intimidating high kicks. Personal trainers can help gym-goers devise a strategy for achieving fitness goals, or visitors can attack the studio's cattle ropes, poles, punching bags, and monkey bars on their own.
