  • DRS Photography
DRS Photography's duo of accomplished shutter snappers draws on more than 40 combined years of experience capturing famous performers to tutor pupils in photographic technique before guiding them through practice sessions at their in-house studio. Camera-bearing apprentices absorb rudimentary knowledge and skills during a three-hour course, such as learning about aperture and lenses, controlling shutter speed, manipulating different lighting configurations, composing exciting shots, and persuading Tasmanian devils to sit still during portraits. Subsequent two-hour safari sessions shuffle students among various studio sets based on different themes and images. Though not included with today's deal, customers can also browse an assortment of accessories, such as lenses, cases, film, and time-stopping pocket watches sold in the studio store.

  • Organic Focus Photography
What makes your business stand out? People come in different colors, shapes, and sizes. Because of this, our portrait packages do too. No two people ever want the same thing, so we tailor each session and each package. We're not afraid to think outside the box. What inspired you to start or run this business? Ever since I was in high school and my parents let me play with their Nikomat 35mm camera, I have been hooked on the lens. I have been taking pictures ever since. What is your most popular offering? Our two-hour portrait session is by far our most popular package. It gives the client plenty of time for wardrobe changes, multiple locations, and a DVD full of fantastic photos to share with friends and family. Anything else you want to add that we didn't cover? It may sound cliché, but we are not happy unless you are happy with the photos we take. You can trust in Organic Focus Photography to listen to what you want, to photograph what you wish, and, hopefully, to surprise you with something unexpected. What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer? The best reactions are always from parents that are amazed we caught a particular pose or face from their child. The scrunched up smile of a toddler with his trucks or the puckered face right before she blows all the dandelion seeds off the stem—seeing a parent's love for that child and appreciation for capturing that moment is beyond words of praise. What’s your favorite part about your job? Life moves so quickly. Kids grow up so fast. Elders we grew up with are absent in our adult years. Every picture we take, we make life stand still for that one moment in time. We love capturing these moments that you may never be able to capture again or redo again. It gives us great joy to be able to share that moment and provide our customers with a lasting impression that they can cherish and pass on for years to come. Business Basics Established: 1998 Handicap Accessible: Yes Staff Size: 2–10 people Parking: Free street parking Reservations/Appointments: Required Most popular offering: Two-hour portrait session Pro Tip: Make a list of expectations—it helps us get to know you and what you are looking for.

At 30-feet tall, the ceilings at Infinity Athletics can safely contain the towering formations and soaring handsprings that leap from the center's cheer and spring floors and 7'x14' trampoline. More than 350 athletes stream into the 12,000-square-foot gym to pick up tips from the certified instructors, who draw from their own experiences as former cheerleaders, coaches, and figure skaters to choreograph high-energy routines for nationally ranked competitors, as well as those who are just there for fun. To help budding stars improve, the center is equipped with a video-playback system that provides coaches and gymnasts with a visual tool to help them fine-tune each tumble, and it also helps them imagine what their routine will look like once the attacking alien warships have been green-screened in.

  • Beautiful Beginnings Infant Massage
As Beautiful Beginnings Infant Massage's teachers point out, the first sense a child develops in the womb is touch. Once born, a baby explores the world with its tiny hands, learning all sorts of information. That leaves touch as the first way parents can meaningfully communicate with their children. The co-founders of Beautiful Beginnings Infant Massage believe that massage is a great way for parents to establish communication and trust with their kids. The benefits aren't just on the children's end, though. One of the founders says her favorite part of their work is "seeing parents gain confidence in their skills and watching the joyful interactions between them and their child."
