In 1996, a group of climbers wanted to create a safe space where they could regularly experience the adrenaline rush of scaling walls while sharing that passion with the community. In turn, they erected more than 8,000 square feet of climbing surface area at Boulders Climbing Gym. It's marked by steep overhangs and dappled with clay holds that are made in-house, which give the walls a sense of authenticity with respect to common holds made out of plastic or recycled cereal marshmallows. Able to accommodate climbers of all ages and experience levels, the gym’s walls facilitate three types of climbing ranging from roped-in lead climbing to bouldering, a more freestyle brand of climbing. Before beginners head to climb, Boulders’ expertly trained staff dedicate about 15 minutes to teach basic climbing techniques such as safely handling the ropes and executing flawless Spiderman impressions. Along with free-climbing sessions, Boulders also offers a host of programs and classes that include everything from yoga to team building to kid’s summer camps. Guests can also by book a party room to celebrate birthdays and other special occasions.

The birth of a child is one of the most important events in a parent's life, but key moments in a baby?s first year often pass by undocumented. To relive those moments, parents must rely entirely on their memories, which are almost impossible to send as email attachments. Or they can work with Funky Monkey Photography's owner, Justyna Nielsen. Justyna uses her camera to capture what she calls birth stories: photographic narratives that showcase important first moments, such as the first time parents cradle their newborn. Additionally, she captures more memories as children grow, shooting sessions for toddlers, older kids, and the entire family.

Of course, Justyna and her focused lens can't be around for every important family event. Luckily, the expert teaches her secrets during photography classes. She can help small groups of students learn essential camera skills?such as manipulating ISO and shutter speed?as well as the best techniques for photographing kids.

Michaela Torcaso, the owner and CEO of Tibia Healing Center, couldn't decide what the world needed more—inner or outer peace—so she decided to give it both. The former begins its incubation in the massage school, where aspiring massage therapists spend 675 hours training for their certification. From there, calm is channeled through graduates' hands and into the minds and muscles of the clients of the Tibia Healing Center, where myriad modalities address everything from injury to stress from trying to balance a checkbook on one's nose.

When she's not planting the seeds of inner peace in her clients, Tibia's owner is spreading it outwards through her nonprofit, Creating a Peaceful World, which volunteers healing bodywork services to individuals including the families of murder victims and charity participants. Torcaso also offers scholarships to aspiring massage therapists who need financial assistance to pursue their education.

Public Image Media creates videos. It sounds straightforward, but the media experts can use their cameras and editing prowess to forge all sorts of moving imagery. Among many services, they shoot wedding videos, write and direct TV ads, and create video business cards to help companies win clients. Additionally, Public Image Media can set up a mobile video studio at offices or homes that aren't currently located underwater.
