At each of HealthSource Chiropractic's more than 400 locations throughout the country, doctors, licensed massage therapists, and physical therapists work together to treat and prevent chronic aches and pains while helping clients increase their overall wellness levels. By combining chiropractic adjustments with strengthening therapy in a technique the center dubs "progressive rehab," specialists can both ease pain and take steps to ensure it doesn't return. This chiropractic treatment incorporates whole-body wellness, not only treating back pain, neck pain headache, sciatica, fibromyalgia and other common concerns, but also focusing on prevention, wellness, and nutrition to help clients achieve optimal health.
Unlike symptom-based medicine that focuses on a single problem, Doctor of Chiropractic Albert Couillard’s holistic approach ensures the whole body is in working order. He omits drugs and surgery from his healing repertoire in favor of techniques that stimulate the body’s ability to heal itself.
Dr. Albert focuses on resolving pain to help clients experience relief quickly. Relief care aims to relieve pain, but the body still needs corrective care to help muscles heal more completely, which prevents further pain. During this time, the doctor may use such techniques as spinal adjustments and the Graston Technique to help heal damaged muscle tissue, restore and improve range of motion, and reduce the likelihood of recurring pain and injuries. Once the body is taken care of, clients can come back whenever they need for routine chiropractic care.

After Sue Vieira earned an associate's degree in physical therapy, she spent eight years honing her skills at Jordan Hospital in Plymouth. Eventually, her thirst for knowledge led her to Headhunter Spa Tech Institute, where she mastered massage-therapy techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, and myofascial release. As the owner of Tranquility's and a member the American Massage Therapy Association, she pours more than 14 years of experience into her massage sessions. During her treatments, she strives to help others overcome mental, emotional, and physical hurdles by relieving stress and balancing the body. In addition to studying massage, Sue returned to Headhunter Spa Tech Institute to add aesthetics to her repertoire of skills.
At The Rothfeld Center for Integrative Medicine, Dr. Glenn S. Rothfeld, MD, leads a team of doctors, nurse practitioners, and acupuncturists, drawing upon his nearly 35 years of experience as a doctor and acupuncturist. Dr. Rothfeld and his team work to not only diagnose symptoms, but to identify underlying causes, providing clients with more complete and effective treatment. Together he and his team provide medical acupuncture treatments, IV nutrient infusion therapy, allergy testing and treatment services, and weight loss therapy.
At Nutrapy, owner and director Jimmy Chung and his team promote internal wellness and external beauty in a tranquil, eco-friendly environment. Chung addresses physical aches and pains not only as a licensed massage therapist, but as a reiki master and certified polarity therapist, specializing in energy work designed to facilitate healing. For the well-being of their clients and the environment, he and his staff perform services using organic products wherever possible, nourishing faces with the Éminence Organic Skin Care line and pampering nails with toxin-free polish. Chung is also working on his master's degree in Chinese medicine, so it's no surprise that the center also offers Eastern-based services such as acupuncture and tai chi classes. Located in the South Shore, Nutrapy also features a raw herbal dispensary and has tested 200 medicinal herbs.
Before treatments even start, Nutrapy helps guests feel calmer and more centered as they walk into the holistic haven, which is decorated with orchids and soothing brown and blue-green earth tones. Once inside, patrons relax in pipe-less pedicure spas that resemble overstuffed recliners, or on a cushy suede couch in the candlelit relaxation room. In the corner, a small, rock-bordered pond teems with bright orange fish and features a soothing waterfall that gurgles Beatles classics.
