Here, certified personal trainers guide clients of all skill levels through motivating boot-camps and exercise programs designed to meet goals loftier than a giraffe’s basketball hoop. To help their charges torch calories and tone muscles as efficiently as possible, the trainers incorporate evidence-based training methods, such as intervals, tempos, and fartlek, into each fitness regimen. Filled with cardio challenges and resistance training, workouts are tailored to individual needs and paired with nutrition tips that help the body build lean muscle. In-studio sessions take place in a private, spa-like studio, flush with energizing red walls and functional training tools such as medicine balls, kettlebells, and gymnastics rings.
Seven days a week, groups gather at AutoBox CrossFit to embark on a new workout. On any given day, Instructors may focus on everything from Olympic-style weightlifting to gymnastic techniques. And while every workout is different, each exercise is steeped in functional fitness movements, whether it is swinging kettlebells, flipping giant tires, or arm wrestling Dolph Lundgren body doubles. All the while, coaches help students set fitness goals, as well as oversee all workouts to make sure they attain those goals.
Trained in many styles of hatha yoga, the instructors at Freedom Yoga empower yogis of all experience levels to harmonize the body and mind in non-heated yoga classes. Lessons range from vinyasa flow sessions designed to acclimate beginners up to more rigorous classes for experienced yogis or hobby-seeking oxygen tanks.
