Steve Price spent his 20-year Air Force career training dogs for scent detection. Now as the founder of Scent Detection International, he has trained more than 60 dogs that have been put to work across the globe. His five-day training program takes canines across 2 acres. That's where he teaches them to detect scents including mold, drugs, explosives, and pirated videos. Steve also conducts drug inspections in homes and businesses that rout out illegal substances, helping clients detect if their loved ones are using illicit drugs.
The skilled staff—a veritable dream team of medical know-how—shepherds clients toward improved health by designing and leading custom weight-loss, nutrition, and fitness programs. Spread across four locations, the practice tailors comprehensive programs. Doctors, personal trainers, nutritionists, and artists who draw kettlebells onto clients' portraits to make them appear fit pool their disciplines to blast away excess pounds with methods birthed from the mind of science itself. Vitamin and amino-acid injections, ketone strips, appetite suppressants, and supplements are part of the weight loss program. Bio-identical hormones characterize the hormone-therapy program, which seeks to restore bodily balance more effectively than replacing legs with gyroscopes.

The first mobile HydroDog station went on patrol in Australia in 1994, bringing dog-bathing and grooming services directly to clients' homes. Back stateside in 2011, Anthony Amos launched a fleet of blue, dog-shaped trailers, towed by his groomer's vehicles, kicking off his own HydroDog franchise. Furry friends hop aboard the whimsical, climate-controlled trailers during appointments. There, groomers clean dogs with a minimum of two tearless shampoos, de-mat tangled hair, and condition fur before cleansing the ears and smoothing the nails. A citrus treatment free of harsh chemicals and pesticides wards off pests such as fleas, ticks, or smaller dogs hiding in fur. After sessions, HydroDog's groomers disinfect all tools and equipment.
Dogs and cats never get a chance to brawl with each other at Country Chase Veterinary. Because the staff members want to make their animal charges as comfortable as possible, from the minute pets come through the door, they're kept in separate waiting areas for dogs and cats. Home-like decor and loads of natural light keep the space from feeling clinical, more effectively than putting afghans on every seat. Procedures are more comfortable too, especially when the vets use the therapeutic laser, which aids in treating painful conditions such as skin lesions, arthritis, and ear infections.
