Photographic memory is rare, but Jenny Meade doesn't need it. She's armed with a sharp eye and a steady camera that can take visual notes during special occasions and monumental moments, from births to weddings. She's especially adept at playing with outdoor light. After each shoot, clients can select shots from online galleries to make into prints.
At Mosaic Yarn Shop, a community of knitting enthusiasts equips for upcoming projects with supplies including skeins of yarn from more than two-dozen brands. Yarns from Malabrigo, Cascade, and Berroco accommodate a wide range of budgets with a rainbow of needle-ready bundles ready to transform into sweaters, caps, and ineffective football helmets. The shop's brick walls, brick-patterned floor, and sunny skylight evoke a homey atmosphere, encouraging patrons to relax as they peruse wares or ask the staff for tips on bartering with alpacas for their wool.
Romp n’ Roll ignites the eternal mind-fires of children with art projects, music time, and gym activities held in a bright and fun-nurturing atmosphere. During summer camp, students can get a taste of Romp n’ Roll’s cardio-friendly and gravity-hostile atmosphere, whirling, bounding, and rolling their way to happiness while learning vital cooperation, hand-eye coordination, and vine-swinging skills. Mirroring the realities of their parents’ workplaces, imaginative camp themes such as “firefighters” and “superheroes” change weekly, adding another layer of playfulness to the amusement-frosted activity cake. The two-day camp entitles participants to a Rompy Camp t-shirt and a nut-free snack and drink each day.

An array of classes direct the feet of all age levels and abilities. Youngsters can hone ballet and tap skills, and adults can come to the studio seeking a challenging workout or serious training in techniques such as hip-hop and pointe, ideal for those who have trouble reaching the cereal on top of the refrigerator.
After a dozen years in the restaurant business, Roya Gharavi had an epiphany: instead of traveling far and wide to gather specialty ingredients and kitchen tools, why not bring those things to her? The idea took root; in 2000, she sold her restaurant, and the Gourmet Pantry was born. After outgrowing its first location, the business expanded into a second location in 2006, where Roya finally had the space to construct a kitchen and bring her dream of founding a cooking school to fruition. Today, the shop is stocked floor-to-ceiling with cookware and is equipped for cooking classes as well as a variety of special events such as wine tastings and cheese-eating contests.
