Depending on how competitive you'd like to be, there are many ways to play sports?at a clinic, in a league, in a tournament, or at a camp, for example. Stratman Sports organizes all of these for a number of different sports, including volleyball, basketball, kickball, and bags. With offerings available for both youth players and adults, the company invites every potential athlete in the greater St. Louis area out to play, regardless of their age or ability level. Locations include The Pavilion, which boasts white sand volleyball courts and an outdoor patio that allows coolers. The staff also specializes in making custom apparel and accessories. They can create uniforms, logos, and other wearable items, meaning that athletes no longer need to play skins vs. rain ponchos.
Inside Epic 6's indoor fun park, kids and adults alike challenge one another to a bounty of exciting attractions. At the bi-level laser tag arena, players race across 7,000 square feet of black-lit battle space, where they can power up their dynamic Delta Strike gear at energy gates scattered through the arena. A 22-foot climbing wall equipped with auto-belay equipment lets both beginner and experienced climbers get in a workout and see what the world would look like if they wore stilts all the time. Heart rates elevate at the 80-foot-long inflatable obstacle course and during dodgeball and basketball games. During breaks, guests can refuel with burgers and carrot sticks at the concession stand.
It’s hard to be everything to everyone, but Bentley SportsPlex gets close: it’s at once a facility for fine arts, tutoring, and an arcade. The family-fun center has bounce houses, a gym, batting cages, and a gymnasium for basketball and dodgeball. Just recently added: a 1200-square foot laser tag arena.
In addition to its family-fun facilities, Bentley SportsPlex aims to be a haven for kids to express themselves. There’s a staff of talented professionals on hand that can provide guitar and bass guitar lessons, painting and craft classes, and tutoring services. There's even a theater branch so youngsters can learn how to accurately convey the pathos of what it’s like to be grounded.
Chesterfield Sports Fusion doesn't limit its visitors to just one or two attractions. Within the 30,000-square-foot facility, sport courts, electronic games, and an array of attractions create enough fun to share with the whole family, even weird second cousins. To pique competitive appetites, the facility hosts 35 arcade games and The Vault, a futuristic, laser-filled obstacle course. Modeled after a movie set, the laser-tag arena hosts matches amid two stories of black-lit scenery, and the trickling sounds of a waterfall serve as the soundtrack for an indoor 18-hole mini-golf course. For athletic play, Chesterfield Sports Fusion boasts a 20-foot climbing wall and a dodge-ball arena. Chesterfield Sports Fusion recognizes that having fun is for all ages and rents its facility out for everything from kids' birthday parties to corporate functions to ceremonies honoring a freshly made pair of dentures.
