Given her cool expertise, one can be forgiven for thinking that Molly Peebles has owned and operated The Joyous Tulip Birth & Holistic Healing Service for decades. Her path as a therapist and doula actually began a mere 18 years ago, when her son was born. Having been guided through her pregnancy by a certified nurse-midwife, she felt compelled to give other women the same support system by becoming a doula.
Before long, Molly was studying at Bastyr University to become a certified birth doula and had graduated from several massage programs. She draws on all of her diverse skills at The Joyous Tulip, where her growing service menu includes pregnancy massage, postpartum massage, and other types of bodywork designed to ease the pains of carrying around a child for nine months or pushing a boulder uphill for eternity.

The staff at Dynamic Chiropractic Clinic believe that, because it's the body's communication center, the spine’s condition can affect the health of the entire body. During treatment sessions, chiropractors correct the alignment of vertebrae with up-to-date techniques—such as motion palpitation, which detects dysfunctional joints, and active release, which treats overused muscles with motion techniques—that are gentler than past methods and more effective than propping patients up with puppet strings. Other corrective techniques, such as exercises and massage therapy, retrain the muscles to support correct alignment. The clinic specializes in rehabilitating clients with injuries from accidents and other traumas, though they can help patients of all ages and backgrounds maintain good spinal health.
Upon earning a bachelor?s degree in computer science, Christopher Slycord feared he might feel unfulfilled working with machines and not people. So he made a hard left turn, first becoming a certified nursing assistant and then obtaining his certification in acupuncture. At his practice, he supplements his traditional acupuncture sessions with cupping and Chinese herb regimens, using individualized treatment plans to tackle ailments that range from anxiety and headaches to chronic arthritis and pants-fall-down-a-lot syndrome.
Much of what Serenity Rejuvenation Center does rests on the shoulders of its medical director, Dr. Stephen O'Connell. As a physician, his knack for physical medicine and rehabilitation ultimately earned him a diplomate status on the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. However, upon reaching another of his field's peaks, Dr. O'Connell decided to branch out into the field of aesthetic medicine. Today, he oversees skincare services such as Botox and Juvederm, along with Cool Sculpting, laser hair removal, weight loss services such as the hCG diet, and wellness services such as vitamin B injections, which inject the bloodstream with a shot of bees.
