This was the dream of US Army vet Mark Daniels, to draw together his talent for personal training and his military experience to help others get fit. Virtually all of his trainers bear a military background, made evident by the workouts that use military techniques that helped soldiers the world over prepare for battle. Contrary to expectations, these instructors keep students motivated without screaming, yelling, or the use of fire. No two workouts are exactly alike, which helps students stay interested, and they take place in almost any kind of weather.

We believe in energy, variety and humor. You'll sweat and laugh at the same time! You will NEVER be bored!

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
We were tired of the big box gyms! We want to service our members and give them what they desire, not cater to the corporate model.

What do you love most about your job?
I love teaching people that want to be taught! When that light goes off in a client's head, we celebrate together. Fitness should involve body AND mind!

The trainers there have spent years on the football field, and that?along with quantifiable results?has attracted at least a dozen pro football players, including some of the championship-winning Seahawks players, to the facility for training.

And while the combine prep program and off-season training regimen are designed for aspiring pros, the 10,000 square-foot facility has plenty to offer for kids and adults devoted to healthy living. Speed and agility classes for kids help develop the control, flexibility, and proper running necessary for school sports or careers modeling athletic gear. Adult classes, on the other hand, cover everything from interval-training group boot camps and body sculpting to weight loss.

The fitness instructor creates outdoor boot-camp routines that not only exhilarate, but also burn calories and tone muscles—what she calls Pulse Boot Camp. It's a fitting name since her mash-up of strength training, running, core work, and other exercises gets pulses racing.
