What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
We have ENERGY! We care about our members and their goals! This should be the best hour of your day! We want to build a community of fitness enthusiasts. We have parties and events and want to welcome you to the Reign City Fitness Family!
Exercise is challenging. How do you keep clients motivated and engaged?
We believe in energy, variety and humor. You'll sweat and laugh at the same time! You will NEVER be bored!
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
We were tired of the big box gyms! We want to service our members and give them what they desire, not cater to the corporate model.
What do you love most about your job?
I love teaching people that want to be taught! When that light goes off in a client's head, we celebrate together. Fitness should involve body AND mind!
The muscle tutors at Fitness Together work with clients to determine exercise goals for shedding pounds, running a marathon, or being strong enough to rip apart spandex. A customized workout plan is developed and catered to help exercisers reach superfit. Fitness instructors supervise squats and offer nutritional advice and encouragement to make sure you see and feel results. Individualized attention means it’s all about you—the trainer can point out when you’re doing a stretch incorrectly, help you tone trouble zones, and motivate you to keep going when you’d otherwise quit or become distracted by the fragile beauty of a passing hummingbird.
The viewers of Evening Magazine had 131 choices for Western Washington?s best fitness instructor of 2012, but Sheree James and her team at Shake It Off Dance Fitness came out on top. It?s no surprise, considering the staff turns dance fitness into full-on festivals of fitness, spurring on rooms full of exercisers through Latin-inspired Zumba dance classes, as well as hip-hop and urban striptease aerobics. It?s not all about cardio at Shake It Off, though; instructors also lead Hot Fusion, during which students shimmy and shake to '80s hip-hop music.
At SNAP Fitness 24/7's network of gyms, members can work out in the morning, the evening—or even at 4 a.m. Per the gym's name, it's always open, and stocked with top-of-the-line cardio and strength-training equipment. Its team also hosts yoga classes, Zumba dance parties, and Pilates sessions that can help build long, lean muscle. Online workout plans and meal plans complement the brick-and-mortar facilities, providing clients with customizable guidelines for how to live a healthy life.
Bored and unmotivated by 20 years of attending lackluster fitness classes, discovering Zumba was a life-changing revolution for ZCrew Fitness's founder Deann Coppess. The dance-fitness routine's high-energy tunes and Latin–inspired dance moves inspired a new vigor in her fitness regimen. She now strives to spark the same fire in her students as they salsa toward slimmer physiques while cultivating a lively atmosphere of elation and acceptance. In addition to leading Zumba's easy-to-follow, calorie-burning choreography, the instructor encourages students to carve out strong core muscles as they hula to Polynesian drumbeats during Hot Hula fitness classes. ZCrew also spices up birthday parties, beach gatherings, and family reunions teaching guests to shimmy off excess pounds or unflattering party hats during onsite Zumba classes.
At Great Play, kids can explore their existing motor and sports abilities and develop new ones in a non-competitive atmosphere complete with interactive scenes and games projected on the walls. Half a dozen computers control eight projectors while a directional sound system and a dozen sensing systems turn the 3,000-square-foot play space into an Interactive Arena. Kids aged six months to 3rd grade are separated into age-appropriate classes to ensure all young ones get the most out of each class. For younger players, the classes unfold as stories projected in the arena, where young movers can jump into snow hills or limbo on a sunny beach. Older kids will be coached on a range of sports skills, such as basketball dribbling or passing a football. During some classes, the projections transform into interactive games such as a wall of glass bottles that electronically shatter when a ball hits them, providing all the ball-throwing exercise and glass-shattering fun of playing catch in the formal dining room, sans dangerous shrapnel and inconvenient sweep-up.
