Village Pilates Studio's owner, Regan Hoerster, boasts an impressive 1,000 hours of apprenticeship work, earning a master's certification with The Pilates Center in Boulder and another certification with the Pilates Method Alliance. She draws from her extensive education to create a comfortable, friendly environment with class styles to accommodate patrons of all skill levels and varying needs. Hoerster offers one-on-one private lessons and semiprivate lessons with a maximum of four participants, which are especially beneficial to beginners. The small class sizes enable her to devote ample attention to each person to foster the development of proper technique. More advanced patrons can opt for gender-specific classes, large-group mat classes, or those that incorporate props such as the barre, pole, and low chair. Reformer machines—built specifically to enhance Pilates workouts by adding resistance to the exercises—line the walls of the hardwood studio, with the majority of the floor space left open for performing mat work and impressing fellow students by forming every letter in Mississippi with your body.
Pilates is an almost century-old workout style, which Stott Pilates—its younger, 20-year-old offshoot—updates with modifications grounded in fitness research. Equilibrium Pilates Studio owner Nancy Hodari and her team of 26 instructors specialize in this modality, teaching the regimen’s more than 500 exercises in a serene, 5,000 square-foot studio. Their workouts are open to all fitness levels and ages, and focus on enhancing posture, strengthening core muscles, and bolstering spinal health. While some of their sessions unfold on yoga-style mats, others center on the reformer, Pilates’ signature resistance equipment designed to expand range of motion for increased semaphore skills. The instructors also venture beyond Pilates to teach Equilibrium's signature fitness classes, such as the dance-inspired Xtend Barre, intense HIIT55 interval training, and nonstop sessions of total body conditioning. Visitors burn calories and build flexibility as they take advantage of the studio's 27 pieces of equipment, including five spin bikes, ensuring that they'll never get bored with the same old workout.
Dr. Timothy Kosinski of SmileCreator has placed over 7,000 dental implants throughout his career. When he isn't crafting dentures, treating gums, or replacing fangs with tusks, he works as an adjunct assistant professor at a university. Because of his achievements in his field, he won the Lifelong Learning and Service Recognition award from the Academy of General Dentistry in 2009. In addition to contributing to two textbooks, he has published more than 80 articles on implant dentistry and has written an unpublished collection of dental-themed haikus. Although Dr. Kosinski offers more routine preventive care, he mostly performs full-mouth reconstruction and cosmetic dentistry, and so, in order to help patients relax during these services, he can use both intravenous and oral sedation. Treatment rooms help patients unwind without sedation with TVs, individual headphones, DVDs, and computer equipment.

Inside this state-of-the-art dental center, Drs. John and Gianni S. DeCarolis combine their expertise to administer cleanings, cosmetic dentistry, and dental treatments for the entire family. The up-to-date office swells with elegance, from the wall-size windows overlooking a verdant lawn to the French-style double doors leading into the reception area. But it’s the advanced technology housed beyond those doors that really makes the studio swell with sophistication. Digital x-rays and intraoral cameras provide a rare look at each tooth’s internal health and the uvula’s collection of swallowed gum, while Zoom whitening procedures help take years off a smile with help from a light-activated gel.
