The family that owns and runs Broughton Dry Cleaners draws from more than 30 years of building up experience in dry cleaning when removing soil and stains from formal- and casualwear at Broughton Dry Cleaners’ onsite cleaning plant. Within the facility, the cleaners eschew water as they restore shirts, pants, and dresses to a like-new luster, which is similar to a new-car smell but has nothing to do with strangers taking customers’ clothes for a test wear.

As classroom teachers, Helaina Altabef and Sarah Marmor noticed something curious: some students struggled to realize their academic potential, despite the fact that they were clearly bright and driven. After analyzing the problem, the instructors devised a solution. Instead of focusing on a specific subject, such as how to fit a history textbook into one's brain via the ear, they realized that some pupils benefit from a broader focus on critical thinking. This led to the creation of Pique Learning, a tutoring program that bolsters reading, independent thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Over the course of a 20-week program, tutors help students ranging from late-elementary-school to early-high-school age during in-home, one-on-one sessions.

A garage stuffed with boxes; a cluttered coffee table; a cramped closet. These eyesores can dominate the aesthetic of a home if left untended. That's where the professional organizers of What Goez Where step in: they put everything in its right place for a cohesive look. Attics, basements, kitchens, bedrooms—they can take on any room, removing unnecessary clutter and organizing what remains. They can also stage homes so that they're ready for the eyes of potential buyers.

Let's Play in Italian exposes kids, young adults, and adults to the culture and language of Italy through engaging programs that range from preschool activities to conversational Italian classes. Tykes up to 8 years old sing songs, tell stories, play games, and put on puppet shows and craft fairs during afterschool programs and Mommy & Me workshops, absorbing Italian vocabulary during their formative years before gray matter turns angsty and taciturn. Parents and kids alike can expand their linguistic repertoire with colorful books, CDs, and DVDs from an online bookstore.
