The Boston College Eagles are set to shred the competition with their metaphorical talons next month when they kick off their season with home games against the Weber State Wildcats and Kent State. Although the Eagles were treacherously swindled out of the Emerald Bowl title last year by the cunning Trojans, this year’s roster is stocked with talented players who are ready to lead the way to victory with aerodynamic skull armor and bubblegum-flavored mouthguards. You'll get lower end-zone views of the tackling, throwing, and funcitement.
Sublime sounds for 135-years! The Boston Cecilia is the 2nd-oldest vocal music group in Boston, but we bring a stylish & fresh approach to our historically-informed performances. We are nationally renowned for our performances of Handel's dramatic works, and we love composers from Bach to Britten...and a few before & after!
Members of the lauded burlesque troupe The Boston Babydolls share their accumulated skills during fun courses and workshops that welcome anyone regardless of experience level. During four-week intro courses, they'll cover burlesque fundamentals such as shimmies, bumps, and tassel twirling, as well as go over burlesque history and costuming. Courses cover topics such as how to build an alluring burlesque bra to spice up established dance routines.
The Boston Babydolls have won the Boston Phoenix's Boston's Best Readers Poll in 2012, 2011, and 2010 for their mélange of sensual dance routines, tinged with devilish comedy and retro style from the 1920s and 1950s. Singing, magic, and circus arts spice up their performances to keep guests entranced without the use of ancient incantations.
