Kids careen over springy walls or safely tumble down inflatable slides at Bounce U's supervised and climate-controlled pliant playground. Along with bouncing, kids can shoot hoops at pop-a-shot-style goals or dodge the brand new wrecking ball. During open bounce hours, families can pop in unannounced for as much inflatable fun as the day allows. Alternatively, regularly scheduled day camps whisk kids along a six-hour structured day of exercise, crafts, and snacks. Birthday packages outfit parents and kids with a variety of options for making a party unforgettable without having to worry about cleaning up the mess from a rented shark tank.

Q&A with Jennifer Schai, Owner
What was the inspiration for starting this business?
I was driving to California to purchase olive oils, vinegars, and Wines because there were no olive oil and wine stores in the Las Vegas Valley. I figured that if I was driving to California to get these products, other people were doing the same thing, and maybe I could fill a niche. I also wanted to educate my customers on the health benefits of my products and ways they can use the products in their everyday lives.
What is the best reaction you?ve ever gotten from a customer?
"Oh my gosh, this is amazing."
What?s your favorite part about your job?
Engaging with my customers.
The Salvation Army Family Store collects and resells donated items ranging from vintage clothing to antique furniture. Patrons can search for wardrobes, tables, and couches to fill out their home, plates and silverware to stock their empty kitchen, and VCRs to feed their pet robot. All proceeds from the Family Stores support The Salvation Army's Adult Rehabilitation Centers. Located across the country, these centers provide faith-based residential and transitional rehabilitation programs for men and women dealing with alcohol and substance abuse.?
Though the best way to contribute to the organization's mission is with monetary donations, the Salvation Army accepts donations of used goods and clothing to sell in the network of Family Stores. All sales of these donated items support the funding of the organization's programming. People can donate goods at convenient drop-off locations or schedule a free truck pickup of the donated items.
In 1965, Popular Mechanics ran a small classified ad for Brookstone, a new catalog company that packed its pages with functional products and detail-oriented descriptions. Brookstone quickly expanded to meet the high demand for its collection of ?hard-to-find tools,? and opened the door to its first retail location in 1973. Today, Brookstone?s more than 300 nationwide retail locations allow customers to test-drive its ever-growing lineup of interesting products, which range from Bluetooth-enabled massage chairs to power adapters designed for international travelers and their electronic passports. Staying true to its roots as a catalog company, Brookstone houses an even larger selection of products, each waiting patiently to be shipped, on its website.
