Inside this intimate, pink-and-animal-print studio, owner and licensed aesthetician Chris Bresky adds length and volume to natural lashes with extensions that liberate lids from clumpy mascara. A lash-extension artist certified through EyebrowMBA and boasting advanced training from the Be An Amazing Lash Artist (BAALA) program, Bresky carefully applies each synthetic lash individually to ensure a natural look that may last two to three weeks, or longer with recommended refills. The makeup artist also studied at Last Looks Makeup Academy in New York City, and provides complimentary makeovers for customers who purchase the boutique's sunless tanners, cosmetics, or Swarovski crystal-embellished tweezers, which bestow eyelids with the ability to speak in code with nearby fireflies.
Stylists at Dolce Vita Salon and Spa shape their clients’ manes with precision cuts and smoothing keratin treatments. While clients sip a complimentary glass of wine, stylists paint locks with single-process color, add subtle face-framing highlights, or dot lids with eyelash extensions. In addition to hairstyling, the salon also features spray tanning, facials, and nail services. Meanwhile, rich chocolate chairs and cabinets and a large black-and-white photo of Marilyn Monroe, lend an air of '50s retro glamour to the salon’s atmosphere.

What?s your favorite part about your job?
Seeing happy and satisfied clients with healthy, glowing, and rejuvenated skin.
When and how did you first develop a passion for your work?
I was born and raised in Eastern Europe, where skincare is a big part of beauty industry. I was fascinated by new technologies and products that help maintain youthful appearance and fight aging. Also, I am a big supporter of wellness, fitness, healthy diets. Those three play a big role in maintaining a beautiful complexion.
The interior of a business can affect how its customers feel. What kind of decor do you use to help make your clients feel pampered and at ease?
Fountains, candles, and aromatherapy.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
Our location is minutes away from West Palm Beach downtown.
Celeste Day Spa strives to do more than revitalize its clients' appearances. The staff tries to turn every appointment into a rejuvenating escape from the stress and pressure of everyday life. Gentle music plays in the background, the scent of aromatherapy oils lingers in the air, and candles gently flicker atop the birthday cakes in each room. Within this serene setting, the massage therapists soothe aching muscles, the aestheticians apply body wraps rich with essential minerals and botanical extracts, and the stylists design flattering new hairdos. Even a traditional pedicure can become a luxuriant experience when the nail technicians incorporate paraffin dips or centering reflexology techniques. Going beyond traditional spa services, Celeste Day Spa also strives to help its clients by offering treatments intended to promote holistic health and wellbeing, such as hypnotherapy, chakra-balancing energy work, and life coaching.
Under the supervision of a physician, the technicians at Sunrise Laser & Hormone Institute beautify bodies with a variety of noninvasive, high-tech services. They remove hair from virtually any skin type with the Alma Soprano laser, whose cooling mechanism keeps skin surfaces so comfortable that many patients compare the treatment to a hot-stone massage. To reduce sagging skin, the Alma Soprano also uses true laser technology to tighten skin in the arms, neck, face, and stomach. To reduce cellulite and wrinkles caused by attempting to spell kohlrabi, staff members call on the radio frequency and magnetic pulses of non-invasive systems. Their service menu also includes laser body-slimming treatments and bioidentical hormone-replacement therapy, along with body contouring, chemical peels, and facials.
Old-fashioned acrylic nails can sometimes be as much of a problem as they are a stylish statement. That's why the nail technicians at Something About Nails specialize in Nexgenails applications, a water-resistant artificial-nail system that has the appearance and physical qualities of natural talons. The odor-free treatments strengthen the nails, do no damage to the nail beds, and promote nail health with an infusion of calcium and vitamin E. This way, Something About Nails can provide visitors with a safe and healthy alternative to acrylic nails and fingertip chainmail. The duo also primps fingers and toes with a full menu of manicure and pedicure services, some of which include Shellac gel polish and soothing paraffin dips, as well as custom facial skincare.
