Couples Justin and Whitney Jones and Dave and Stephanie Beebe banded together to create CrossFit Branson after each being inspired by the CrossFit system’s encouraging environment. In their expansive gym, certified trainers lead intense workouts that are based on functional movements and designed for participants of all experience levels to see dramatic increases in their fitness levels. During each session, they foster the same camaraderie and friendly competition that pulled the business’s founders toward the sport in the first place.
Bryan designed his first CrossFit class when he was stationed in Afghanistan, using any equipment he could get his hands on: sandbags, weight volleyballs, steel rods. He enjoyed the challenge and the functional fitness aspects of CrossFit and saw the connection between the CrossFit mentality and the one he had during his 20 years of service in the army. Today, he and his fellow trainers lead students of all levels through intense CrossFit classes within his high-ceilinged, well-stocked facility, using climbing ropes, massive tires, and the camaraderie of a group.
The instructors at CrossFit - Springfield know their workouts take a little getting used to. Students rarely walk in with perfect form on the clean and jerk or the endurance to repeatedly launch medicine balls into the air. With this in mind, instructors lead free introductory classes twice a week to familiarize new guests with CrossFit. During high-intensity workouts throughout the week, the gym fills with the snap of jump ropes, the clatter of free weights, and the idling of airliners waiting to be pulled somewhere. Classes blend plyometrics and exercises on parallel bars with Olympic lifts, including the power clean and the deadlift. Workouts are scaled to meet the fitness level of each participant and are led by a dynamic collection of instructors, including ER nurses, college-football stars, Marines, and competitive kickboxers.
CrossFit Provision's team of CrossFit Level 1-certified coaches welcomes newcomers to their sprawling fitness facility with open, chiseled arms. In fact, three of the coaches dedicate all their time to introductory classes that teach exercisers how to speak the native CrossFit language as well as how to safely perform typical CrossFit exercises such as squats and pull-ups. Once up to speed, exercisers can sign up for the real thing: one of CrossFit's intense daily workouts.
CrossFit Criterion's workouts emphasize that a routine shouldn't be routine. Each session, participants undertake a different workout, combining weightlifting, cardio exercises, pushups, and varying equipment. Classes are catered to guests of all fitness levels by scaling each exercise to each individual's capabilities.
