Licensed aesthetician Celeste McGee abandoned more than two decades' worth of corporate ladder climbing in order to pursue her true calling: making people feel beautiful. Today, her clients can see evidence of that passion in the array of dermal services Celeste offers, from microdermabrasion and body polishing to airbrush tanning. But before she administers any beauty services, she consults with clients to foster effective and fully custom treatments.
The seasoned stylists at The Loft approach each haircare service with a practiced understanding of technique and aesthetics. Led by owner Lynn Vermont, the team boasts members with decades of experience at both delivering trendy treatments and even owning salons of their own. Whether they're snipping hair into a summer-ready 'do, imbuing locks with an updated hue through full or foil coloring, or gracing fingertips with a sturdy set of acrylic nails, team members leave their clients significantly more fashionable than they were when they arrived. They also specialize in wedding parties, prepping brides, maids of honor, and reception food-tasters for the special day with breathtaking updos and designs.
Springfield-native Heather Keisker is the newest addition to The Loft and brings six years of experience with her. At the salon, she cuts and colors hair for clients of all ages. She also creates longer nails with acrylic application and grooms natural nails on the fingers and toes with mani-pedi services.
Southern Missouri native Shannon Pate makes helping her clients feel comfortable, beautiful, and pampered her main priority when performing a range of skincare and body treatments. Clients can request full-body waxing services, eyelash tinting, and massage sessions to relieve musculature weary from long workdays sitting at an uncomfortable desk chair or on top of a stack of damp pizza boxes. Shannon also offers add-on services such as ear candling, facial masks, and collagen lip pads.

Pro Tip: Feel free to contact me for a consultation to discuss what's best for your hair.
What is one of your signature services? How is it performed?
Balayge-style ombre. I can create a subtle ombre effect without the harsh lines by using the balayage technique. The colors will fade gradually from the roots to the ends of your hair.
What’s your favorite part about your job?
Making people feel great about themselves and boosting their confidence.
What steps do you take to make your clients feel at ease?
I do a thorough consultation to make sure we are both on the same page. I want to know exactly how my client wants their hair done before I start cutting or coloring.
Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?
The number one complaint I hear from new clients is that their last stylist just didn't listen to what they wanted. So I always talk to my clients about their hair to determine their likes and dislikes, and what we can do to fix any problems. I strive to be a good listener, and I try to give professional advice to all of my clients.
Ever since Salon Deco opened its doors in June 2013, its friendly, skilled aestheticians have worked to optimize each client's natural beauty. Guests can sip glasses of wine while nail technicians groom and pamper hands, decorating fingernails with long-lasting Shellac polish in traditional or funky colors. The aestheticians also enhance eyes with feminine eyelash extensions, beautify skin with airbrush makeup, and cut and color men's and women's hair. Wood floors and floor-to-ceiling glass windows lend the salon a clean, modern ambiance.
