Also, hefting, hauling, and flipping such unconventional items is good fun. Functional movements, and fun, are the core of CrossFit. The system inspires students to perform functional movements at a high intensity while using basic equipment and their own body weight. Each daily workout consists of a wide variety of exercises that sculpt muscles throughout the entire body. Changing exercises each day also keeps workouts fresh while avoiding the boredom of repetition. CrossFit is a very adaptable program, too, allowing trainers to tailor routines to anyone's individual fitness level. To keep things fun and to fuel the fire of competition, CrossFit Webster's team even periodically organizes a sort of CrossFit Olympics called Garage Games.
