Ticket stubs, needlework, oil paintings: the experts at The Great Frame Up have handled them all, turning them into wall-ready hangings. Their selection of hundreds of frames, matting options, and varieties of glass makes it easy for clients to find the right colors and textures to complement their artwork. In addition to custom framing, the professionals offer conservation framing for paintings with monetary value or used napkins with sentimental value. Three-dimensional objects are also a specialty: The experts can slip hockey pucks and musical instruments into acrylic cases or send clients home with one to keep empty in anticipation of finally acquiring that unicorn horn. Inside the store, customers can peruse a selection of ready-made frames and framed art work.
Whether capturing a family portrait or immortalizing a wedding or graduation, MMI Photography seeks to blend a knowledge of the technical side of photography with a knack for evoking beauty from its subjects. During each session, whether on-location or in-studio, a professional photographer works with clients to create ideal images that encapsulate important life events.
Experienced lens master Danielle Krenz captures seasonal family portraits in her warehouse studio, using them to ornament holiday cards and create mailable memories. Up to six subjects can model during a 20-minute shoot, which Danielle can hold inside or outside, weather permitting. Though Danielle can provide a few thematic props, patrons are welcome to bring their own, as well as any pets or recreational Trojan horses.
Having spent more than four decades behind the lens, Phil Slaske has seen the photography industry change dramatically. As film and darkroom equipment have been set aside to make room for digital cameras and high-resolution printers, the photo specialist has adapted his craft to fit the times. Today, Slaske specializes in several types of photography, including wedding photography, business portraits, and high-school or military group photos. He offers images in both digital and print versions, and also retouches photos to minimize skin imperfections or adorn faces with Groucho Marx mustaches. He has personally photographed more than 1,500 weddings and also specializes in capturing high-school-senior and family portraits.
