Color-specialist Raechel studies the latest styling trends and techniques to master the maintenance of wayward and fading strands of hair. Clients sit down for their scissor shaping and explain what image they're looking for, describe preferred styles, and defend using clean mop heads in lieu of professional hair extensions. Relax as the comb twirler cuts and clips your coif with precision and accuracy, shaping it into a sculpted 'do. Color-deficient follicles searching for a blast of brightness sprawl beneath highlights, which liven the style with luminous shades. Brand-name products such as Goldwell, Redken, and Chi help Raechel coax faded grays to wave their refreshed tresses like flags around the United Nations. After a haircut, style, and highlights, hair wearers wander into the streets with a noggin dressed to stun passersby and reverse colorblindness.

After passing through the chic foyer of Lindsey Soria's Studio Nine salon, guests proceed past walls lined with local artists' work and through windowed french doors to the 100-square-foot private chamber of their chosen stylist, massage therapist, or aesthetician. Stylist Lindsey's colorful feather hair extensions (a $50 value), made with genuine rooster feathers, accent native head-plumage with hues ranging from hot pink to silver, each sure to attract admiring glances and migrating birds. The stylish strands won't damage their home-grown neighbors, and, once clamped in, can be brushed, blow-dried, straightened, or curled at temperatures up to 450 degrees. Like normal hair, the extensions last up to four months before leaving patrons for someone else.

• For $100, you get four organic spa facials (a $200 value). • For $22, you get a mani-pedi (a $45 value). • For $10, you get two brow waxes (a $20 value). Wild Flower Day Spa’s experienced staff relaxes and beautifies clients with myriad spa services and an array of organic and natural products. A relaxation conjurer revitalizes enervated countenances on four separate visits with a one-hour organic spa facial. The facial begins with an invigorating cleansing and exfoliation followed by a steam treatment to lure stress and tension from façades. Nimble fingers knead neck and shoulder muscles until they are as malleable as a double-jointed slinky before faces are cloaked in a customized mask with accompanying eye and lip treatments. The beautician works out stubborn knots in arms, hands, and kneecaps as the mask sets, and wraps up the visage vivification with a replenishing moisturizer. Alternatively, clients can opt for either the approximately 90-minute mani-pedi to bedazzle finger and toe protectors, or for two 15-minute brow waxes to accentuate the arch in ocular bristles with a subtleness that is rarely achieved by propping them up with toothpicks.

Q&A with Neil Hall and Naturopath & Nutritionist Lisa Rhodes, Bowenwork Practitioners

Do you offer your customers any extra perks?

We take the time to listen to your problems and concerns. We try not to keep you waiting. We often research questions you may have and provide verbal or often written information about your inquiry. We provide a newsletter with various kinds of health information at no charge to you.

Out of your entire repertoire, which is your favorite service to perform and why?

Our Bowenwork sessions are my favorite because of the favorable results?many times when all else has failed. Our natural approach brings out the amazing healing abilities of our bodies. New clients are usually amazed at how relaxed they become during the session. It usually achieves results more quickly than many other approaches and results are usually long-term.

What steps do you take to make your clients feel at ease?

We express our concern and interest in them and their problems. We help them to feel relaxed and comfortable in relating their problems and health issues, and explain that the Bowenwork session can be administered through light clothing, so there is no disrobing.

Is there anything else you want to add that we didn't cover?

In addition to Bowenwork sessions, we offer naturopathy and nutritional services to help our clients improve their health.
