Up to six riders hook their road bikes into a CompuTrainer device, which carefully calibrates speed and power and displays their real-time stats through digital screens overhead. Experienced cyclists train alongside newbies, pounding out miles without the hassles of inclement weather and aggressive vehicles while forging camaraderie and pushing their workouts to the limits in a safe, supervised setting. The trainers also offer private coaching to help riders improve their performances. During these sessions, they still draw upon technology and can determine where you are producing power in each pedal stroke and the number of baseball cards needed to make your back wheel sound like a Harley.
