Twisted Paintball lets slip the dogs of nonlethal war across five distinct fields, each outfitted with different obstacles and forms of cover. Customers outfit themselves with a mask for protection before equipping an electronic rental marker with 3,000-psi compressed air tanks that hurl paintballs with the accuracy of a professional pitcher aiming at a dunk tank. The five fields span the drained banks of nearby Crystal Creek as well as its surrounding wooded terrain, although four of them are within a 30-second jaunt of the rest area.
Legends Paintball supplies rainbowtastic sharp shooters with the equipment necessary to wage chromatic combat on the blank canvas battlefield. Duck behind wooden spools, vegetation, or an unsuspecting teammate to avoid whizzing acrylic bullets while targeting opponents with a fury of vibrant projectiles. Ensuring the safety of players and their planet, the paint proprietors stock oil-free, environmentally friendly EcoFill ammunition composed of natural, nontoxic ingredients.
Tank’s Paintball Park ensures safe battles for beginner and advanced gunsmiths with referees certified by the World Paintball Federation, safety briefings, netting around the fields, and thorough marker testing before each round. After snipers strap on protective gear, Tank's constantly evolving fields host play with frequent upgrades that generate new experiences for returning clientele and prevent debilitating battle flashbacks. A covered staging area accommodates more than 100 visitors between sessions with comfy chairs and benches as well as concessions and a snow cone stand for pregame or postgame energy boosts. Back at the headquarters, Tank’s pro shop stocks players' arsenals with paintball essentials such as goggles and vests that allow fearless ambushes and midbattle fashion shows.
Equipped with obstacles for speedball, hyperball, and woodsball players alike, Splatterhouse Paintball’s ten fields unfold across more than 25 acres of diverse game-playing terrain. Armed with a top-of-the-line rental marker, combatants duck behind wooden spools and tire stacks, navigate their way through a one-story house in the woods, or brave the open space of Nottingham. Under the watchful eyes of trained referees, players duke it out during private weekday games and walk-on matches that last from morning to nightfall every Saturday and Sunday. Splatterhouse Paintball’s games are designed with guests 10 and up in mind, though nine-year-old visitors can play if accompanied by a guardian during the match.
The 5J Extreme Sports facility is a 40-acre park of exhilaration, where paintball and airsoft opponents suddenly leap out from behind giant spools, towering wooden walls, and imposing trees. Players dart across the multiple, diverse playing courses, ducking into forts and scampering across fields. The course selection includes concept fields and wooded courses, as well as speedball setups. During paintball games, eco-friendly, water-based paintballs fly through the air, while during airsoft games, the paintballs and markers are replaced by professional BBs and airsoft rifles. In addition to parties and team practices, the facility plays host to regular paintball tournaments and scenarios.
