The team of instructors at CrossFit Burbank aren't your run-of-the-mill trainers. Some are certified in CrossFit, helping clients reach peak fitness with a daily-changing workout that may utilize free weights, kettlebells, or plyometric boxes. Others are black belts in Brazilian jiu jitsu, focusing sweat sessions on the "Gentle Art" to give students a firm understanding of the sport and self-defense. Still others, including head coach and doctor of pharmacy, Ernie Tom, are both CrossFit trainers and seasoned black belts, combining a passion for fitness with decades of martial-arts mastery. Combined, this team of instructors integrate a plethora of techniques into a broad-spectrum program designed to promote fitness excellence for everyone, from stay-at-home parents to MMA fighters to office workers. The results-orientated workouts are the same regardless of fitness level but the load and rigor of exercises can be scaled to meet the individual's needs.
