Photographer Charles Fretzin began his love affair with the camera more than 30 years ago, when he studied at Chicago's Institute of Design. Now, Charles trains his eye to formal and candid portraiture to capture stills of families, couples, and newlyweds against a studio or scenic backdrop. Subjects receive their digital images via email before selecting the choicest shots, which can later be made into prints, custom photo albums, or toasters that burn their faces into each slice of bread.
Although he once starred on the soap opera Forever, Jim Richer found his true calling behind the lens. But this small-screen experience may explain why Richer is a pro when it comes to producing headshots for kids, teens, and adults that catch the eye of casting directors. Richer is also an expert when it comes to retouching images, whether they’re for professional or personal purposes. He can go so far as to remove braces, background buildings, and background buildings with headgear from images.
Jule Photography’s resident photographer relies on natural light. It’s one of the subtle touches that enrich each Jule headshot and portrait, whose tones range from the cheerful to the dramatic. That’s apt, since the studio frequently accommodates aspiring actors, who, like other clients, can strike poses in up to three outfits. Retouched photos and DVDs of images preserve each moment, both during in-studio sessions and at on-location coverage of theatrical productions and weddings.

Orlando Deral is a man of many talents. Using hi-definition cameras, he leads his staff in capturing images on both print and film. They also handle media needs in all stages, from storyboarding commercial spots to optimizing music videos for the internet. But the studio's real focus is on weddings, wherein a photographer and cinematographer help tell a couple's story through engagement reenactments or a rundown of their special day.
Dipaolano Photography captures subjects outdoors using natural lighting. During one- or two-hour headshot photo shoots, clients may change their wardrobes as many times as desired. Following a session, clients receive digital images from the shoot on DVD.
