Certified personal trainers helm this low-key facility, challenging every inch of the body during group workouts for all levels of fitness. In addition to building strength and stamina, RIPPED interval training sports a team-like atmosphere that helps exercisers tackle fitness objectives as lofty as a redwood sprouting from a moon-bound rocket. Available by appointment, personal training sessions teem with custom exercises and nutrition tips that complement the client's daily routine. Informed by a deep knowledge of physiology and kinesiology, these programs also propel them toward goals such as losing weight, sculpting muscles, or running a marathon while flying a kite.

The owners of Smash Hit Kickboxing invite anyone interested in undertaking a physical, emotional, or spiritual transformation to explore kickboxing and meet with their cadre of experienced instructors. Each instructor boasts over 20 years of martial-arts immersion with backgrounds including a world-ranked kickboxing champion, a former member of the USA National Karate Team, and an award-winning hand model. Their program blends the fitness and self-defense aspects of kickboxing along with specific courses geared towards beginners or advanced students training for their black belts.
Krav Maga Novi’s instructors help their students to master the krav maga fighting style in their fitness studio, but the techniques were not designed for studio combat. They are intended for street fights—more specifically, self-defense. Krav maga’s originator, Imi Lichtenfeld, was a champion wrestler and boxer, but he realized during World War II that traditional fighting styles were inadequate in unofficiated, real-world conflicts. And so he developed krav maga, which is now the official self-defense system of the Israeli armed forces. At Krav Maga Novi, however, instructors teach the style to civilians, from its basic headlocks and punches to techniques for defeating multiple attackers without first convincing them to form a conga line. Classes at the studio can also focus on specialty areas, such as ground fighting, kickboxing, and defeating opponents armed with sticks, knives, and other weapons.
Instructors Brandon and Shawn named their fitness studio Function of Fitness to keep clients—and themselves—reminded of what wellness is all about. "You are a function of your fitness," they explain, and "the better your function, the greater the you." When we're fit, we're able to feel our best and accomplish more, and Brandon and Shawn like helping each client on their personal journey. The class schedule features boot camp, boxing sessions, and TRX workouts, along with lower-impact workouts such as slow flow candlelight yoga. Personal training affords clients one-on-one attention and tailors workouts to fit their individual needs.
Master Your Body Fitness gives exercisers the power to take control over not just their appearances, but their lives. Owner Victor Oddo has spent a good chunk of his own life helping others realize their potential, and he’s used physical fitness as the vehicle to do so. At Master Your Body, Victor joins forces with personal trainer Marvin Hayoo to identify fitness problems and stomp them out on the spot. The duo offers one-on-one training sessions as well as intense group classes, including beginner martial arts, cardio kickboxing, and strength training. In the latter, students learn how to safely and properly perform powerlifting and Olympic exercises, whether they’re simply trying to build muscle or get strong enough to become a superhero who specializes in opening pickle jars.
