Nurturing the pep-boosting skills of kids since 2004, Cheer Mania helps little ones become engaged in a fun and rewarding activity while exposing them to beneficial physical activity in a fun and safe environment. Founded by Michelle Boehle, Cheer Mania allows budding routine crafters to glean handy knowledge from her years of experience as a UCLA Spirit Squad member and Los Angeles Laker Girl. Campers will learn cheers, jumps, dance moves, and introductory stunting while donning a Cheer Mania T-shirt. Each camp has enough space for 20–40 kids; campers should bring their own lunches, snacks, and water each day. A versatile schedule offers weekly sessions from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in June, July, and August at three different locations, allowing parents to plan around busy schedules and shark week. Help budding cheerleaders wield pompoms with the precision of an orchestra maestro with a weeklong of frantic cheering.

For nine days in July, the annual theater festival stages an eclectic collection of international plays, premieres, and readings. This season’s lineup represents the finest union of worldly performances since Les Misérables: As Performed by Members of the U.N. The lineup includes the U.S. premiere of Ireland’s Gare St. Lazare Players’ production of The End and Israel’s Orto-Da Theatre Group’s production of Stones, a movement piece in which the troupe’s mime artists depict a living statue that commemorates Jewish warriors of the Warsaw Ghetto. Full descriptions of the season can be found here; consult the season schedule for performance details. Please note that some performances are free throughout the festival's run.
