At first glance, the menu here looks like one found at any American diner: pepper steak dinners, burgers, BLTs, and breakfast served all day.
But this isn't a regular diner. This is The Vegan Joint, a diner where dishes are instead built from soy, seitan, and organic tofu. The all-day breakfast is quite popular (reason enough to go there, according to LA Weekly), but it's only a small part of the menu. In addition to tofu scrambles and tropical pancakes, there are wraps, nachos, burgers, and Thai-style dishes such as curries and pad thai.
