A thoroughly contemporary company, Theatre Junction Grand provides a platform for eclectic performers and visionaries to converge and unleash their bold ideas and art forms. With L'Effet de Serge, Vivarium Studio's acclaimed Parisian play imparts the tale of Serge, an eccentric who stages weekly performances for his chums centred on homemade special effects. Lead by Gaetan Vourc'h as Serge, the remainder of the cast is rounded out by uncoached local actors to lend performances a sense of realism. Supported by the Consulate of France in Calgary and Institute Français, the show is further enriched by the whimsical stage design, providing audience members with a pleasurable visual experience. Seating is first come, first serve, so arrive early to avoid sitting chained to Jabba the Hut for the duration of the production.
Samadhi Yoga and Wellness Centre Ltd's passionate instructors empower students to flex their way through more than two-dozen yoga practices seven days a week. Power Yoga trains breath to couple with movements, rather than run off in search of unfilled balloons, during a fast-paced class that strives to strengthen core muscles. The Relax and Restore class, meanwhile, calms yogis' bodies and minds through slow, gentle postures held for long durations. Fitness-focused practitioners can partake in the Yoga Fusion class, which peppers yoga poses with strength and cardio exercises, keeping bodies as strong and limber as a cowboy made of rubber bands. Additionally, Samadhi Yoga and Wellness Centre Ltd. pampers its practitioners with complimentary water, towels, and mats.

Founded with the objective of simplifying the often overcomplicated art of digital photography, fotoscool employs a team of seasoned instructors—each a longtime professional with a celebrated career—to guide photography students through seminars and workshops held across the country. Keeping their overarching objective of simple-yet-entertaining instruction in mind, savvy teachers design each session to get participants on their feet with hands-on activities such as interactive exercises, on-location shoots in scenic locales, and bonding human-camera trust falls. In an effort to branch out of the classroom, fotoscool also periodically hosts tours that ferry photo enthusiasts to scenic far-flung locales for extended shooting lectures and on-site experience.

Olympic gold medalist Mark Tewksbury and three-time Olympic bronze medalist Curtis Myden can both list Cascade Swim Club on their resumes. They're just two of the swimmers taught during the club's history, which stretches back more than 40 years, or the entire time water has existed. Former National Swim Team head coach Dave Johnson heads the club's current faculty, which teaches amateur swim programs at four local Calgary pools.
