Arthur Murray's experienced instructors and owners, including some who have worked with shows such as So You Think You Can Dance and Dancing With the Stars, stand ready and waiting to teach students in the ways of balance and coordinated rhythmic motion. Bring a partner to your two private lessons or fly solo and dance with your instructor. In either case, you'll leave with a greater understanding of the dance style of your choosing. These lessons are ideal for a betrothed pair prepping for the big wedding dance or a fledgling fitness seeker looking for a fun new way to get in shipshape. Stick to a stately waltz, spicy up life with a rumba, or feel vibrant and playful with a few swing steps in your personal repertoire. Whether you're an experienced dancer hoping to brush up on certain techniques or you have two left feet for feet and two right feet for hands, private lessons at Arthur Murray Dance Studio offer bountiful, dance-based benefits. This Groupon also allows dancers to stop in for two group classes to put their newly acquired skills to the test.
From Divine Movement's twin studios in Kirkland and Seattle, co-owners Angi Cardwell and Jennifer Patenaude oversee a sultry suite of pole-dance and boudoir-dance classes set to the sounds of heart-pumping rock, indie, and hip-hop. Though not specifically a workout regimen, the floor-based and pole-vaulted routines are high-energy maneuvers that help to boost confidence and create a positive self-image. Six-week series cater to beginners and intermediate seductresses, and more advanced drop-in sessions cover holds, inverted handstands, and midair tea service. The dress code calls for comfortable yoga-style wear and bare feet or legwarmers.
In honor of Women’s History Month, Groupon is celebrating an inspiring group of women: business leaders whose companies and brands enrich their communities. Thanks to the dedication and ingenuity of these leaders, local communities across the country are stronger and more diverse.

Eastside Stomp is the name for a collective of swing dance teachers and enthusiasts based on the Eastside of the Greater Seattle area. We are dedicated to teaching, performing, preserving, evolving and promoting the many vintage-based forms of swing dance, as well as the music and style of the Swing Era.
At The Dance Within, teaching the steps for belly dancing, hula, Bollywood, and burlesque isn't enough. The instructors also want to teach students about the culture surrounding the dance. The studio features a salon where you can get a henna tattoo, and a boutique shop where you can find dance garb such as burlesque bustiers, Bollywood disc earrings, and jerseys of popular ballet dancers.
Jay Offutt, owner of the Dance Experience, has been providing the Seattle Dance Community with social dance classes and individual instruction for over 30 years.
Our staff are energetic and excited about dancing. Our dance courses build upon the previous week’s dance curriculum and then gradually add new material.
Before Jordyn Palmer founded Edge Performing Arts and Dance, she unleashed her powerful pipes on the stages of Carnegie Hall and Avery Fischer Hall. These experiences, along with holding starring roles in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown and Jane Eyre, readied Palmer to lead fledgling singers and actors toward their own performance goals. Along with dance teacher Sanna James, Palmer leads private lessons, group classes, and summer camps that focus on stage presence, self-confidence, and turning every Shakespearean sonnet into a dance number.
