As a ballroom-dance teacher, Monica had already mastered the dance floor when she found out she was pregnant. Though the news meant she had to give up some of her larger responsibilities, she kept teaching up until a week before she gave birth and came back just eight weeks after, driven by her love of dance.
But her months of working during pregnancy had taught her something: dancing was social and active, which was “keeping her sane.” Not only did it improve her mood, the stimulation of dancing helped keep her child, Oscar, calm both in the womb and in his carrier. Spurred by her new experiences, Monica founded Mama Ballroom to share the joy of dancing with other expecting and brand-new moms. Monica’s one-hour classes impart basic steps and patterns in a variety of ballroom styles, allowing moms of any experience level to move to the music and ensure their baby’s popularity at kindergarten cocktail hours. Mama Ballroom incorporates elements of classical, Latin, and tango to teach students to sway to the sultry sounds of Sinatra, salsa, and merengue.

If you've never played an instrument, you're missing out on one of the most fulfilling human experiences: smashing your instrument. Actually, the most fulfilling experience is when you play something so beautiful that you lose yourself in the music. For you seasoned musicians, a brush up lesson at Page Music could improve your skills. Why, even Mozart took piano lessons late in his life to learn new techniques. Today's Groupon also makes a great gift for a talentless friend or relative. All ages are welcome at Page.
Travelmasters' Academy founder Boris Mordkovich spent years learning first hand how to navigate the rules and policies of frequent flyer programs. He was successful in accumulating more than 500,000 frequent flyer miles per year, and often traveled to distant locales for free. Today, Mordkovich instructs seasoned and occasional air commuters in the secrets of flying for free, showing students how to legitimately earn thousands of miles without stepping foot into a plane.
The academy prides itself on its "one free ticket or your money back" guarantee. Mordkovich promises students that they can use the classes' knowledge to earn at least 25,000 miles, good for at least one roundtrip ticket in the US, or they will receive a full refund and a pair of "I'm Sorry" wings.
