By using good time-management routines with proper rest periods while providing a non-stop instructional session that combines physical activities, explanations of the techniques, and the reason for each application as well as a question and answer segment.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
As a child, I found myself willing to do very dangerous activities to impress others. After learning martial arts, I found out that my confidence level was low and I needed the approval of others to feel good about myself, so I set out to help others to change for the better and I do it with karate.
What do you love most about your job?
I'm given the opportunity to inspire others on a daily basis; to see the light in my students eyes when they learn something that matters to them. To be invited to my students' awards ceremonies and see how they blended the martial arts training with the academic achievement; that is so important.
