Lined with lively Mexican tiles, The Border's alluring front door welcomes patrons to a spacious, two-story dining fortress filled with the aroma of authentic Mexican cuisine and enough spectral colors to build several dozen rainbows. Diners seated at a table, in a brightly painted booth, or underneath one of the bar's plush stools enjoy classic dishes such as crisp tacos, hearty burritos, and sizzling fajitas. Cool sips of a margarita, some sangria, or a draft or bottled beer hydrate throats parched from proclaiming the true meaning of the framed photos and art peppering The Border's vibrant walls. When the weather isn't too frightful, guests can enjoy their comestibles outdoors on the fully shaded patio or in a partially shaded area enclosed by mural-decorated walls. The Border also hosts weekly events, including trivia on Monday and karaoke on Thursday.

Live music regularly reverberates off Samba Loca Brazilian Steakhouse's bright-red walls, which bear festive decorations of ethnic artwork and wine racks crafted from gleaming chrome. Patrons sit under the full bar's flat-screen TVs, around tables, or in booths as the kitchen’s Brazilian recipes power entrees of 10-ounce strip steaks and salmon doused in Brazilian honey-dijon mustard. Customizable meals come in the form of five grill-fired meats, including filet mignon and red snapper, which don one of nine traditional sauces splashed with notes of curry, blue cheese, or passionfruit. To help them to decide, patrons not fluent in Portuguese can rely on the menu's English and Klingon translations or gaze at screens that feature photos of Samba Loca's signature dishes.

On select Thursdays at Chillerz Frozen Yogurt, dessert is free. Okay, there's one catch?you have to guess the exact weight of your frozen yogurt creation, then it's free. With all the flavors and fixings available, it's rare that any one of those treats will look the same. Rotating yogurt flavors range from classics like dreamy dark chocolate to more unusual options, such as butter toffee popcorn and spiced apple pie.

Chillerz's self-serve machines have some health-conscious flavors, too, such as non-fat strawberry and orange sorbets. Each cup of yogurt can be enjoyed plain or smothered beneath toppings from a buffet stocked with myriad candies and fruits. Once their treats are all gone, youngsters are invited to draw on Chillerz's chalkboard wall, a nice alternative to practicing their graffiti tags on Chillerz's other walls.

Visitors at any of The Olive Tree Restaurant?s three locations bask in the tantalizing aroma of garlic drifting from the kitchen, which bustles with a lineup of expert chefs. Seated at a cozy table, guests dig into an array of traditional Greek and Italian dishes, taking alternating bites of veal parmesan and grecian scallops. And their mouth-watering Maryland crab cakes come from a special family recipe that was perfected at their sister restaurant Olive Grove in Maryland. Hosting outdoor dining, the Villa Rica restaurant shelters patrons beneath an awning-protected patio, and the Hiram location houses them in a quaint brick terrace flanked by lattices and the tendrils of hanging plants, which often sneak bites of baked pasta over diners' shoulders. The Hiram location further entertains the senses with live music during dinner on Fridays and Saturdays. At all three locations, patrons can wash down savory bites with wine, draft beer, and specialty cocktails from the full bar, and can request takeout or catering for special events and weddings.
