Abiding by the Center for Outdoor Ethics’ Leave No Trace principles, the adventurous guides at North Texas Outdoor Pursuit Center train bodies and minds to venture into deep wildernesses or up sheer cliffs without marring nature with evidence of their excursions. A map room and library help climbers plot eco-conscious regional excursions near Mineral Wells or the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge or explore wilderness courses that reveal Guadalupe National Park’s steep summits or Ouachita National Forest’s uniformed raccoon park rangers. Dominated by a soaring 120-foot climbing wall, the center’s gym bustles with preparatory activity as guides test students’ ascent abilities and improve their form with instructive, one-on-one critiques.

Taking its very name from an old industry term for crafting clothing exactly to clients' specifications, C Bespoke conjures handsome custom suits, shirts, blouses, and skirts sewn to fit each buyer’s unique measurements. At each of its eight locations, skilled tailors with decades of collective experience help clients personalize each step of their new wardrobe, from the selection of the cloth to the stitching of old nicknames from summer camp onto the lapel. C Bespoke cultivates strong relationships with companies throughout England, Italy, South America, and the United States, drawing in luxurious fabrics from around the world from brands such as Ermenegildo Zagna, Loro Piana, and Thomas Fisher. Stylish gents fill out custom-made suits that compose dapper silhouettes, whereas women don pantsuits, skirts, and blouses that flatter frames. In addition to creating brand-new wearables from fine materials, the talented tailors alter coats, slacks, shirts, and overcoats from a range of top labels.

Hosted by former Dallas Cowboys Jay Novacek and Kevin Smith, Sportz Partnerz's ESPN "Lunch with a Legend" events invite fans to meet, greet, and eat with a selection of NFL players and veterans in private luncheons with no more than 100 attendees. Rudy's chefs barbecue infinite amounts of brisket, sausage, and chicken to fuel mingling among fans and football stars. The intimate event allows lunchers to get close enough to smell the fame for 90 minutes of posing for photographs, listening to NFL stories, and snagging barbecue-sauce-smeared autographs. The roster of NFL guests will vary by day and location, and a complete list will be available upon registration.

Parkinson Voice Project (PVP) aims to preserve the voices and ability to swallow in people with Parkinson's disease and related neurological disorders using intensive voice therapy and follow-up support. The Speak Out full-treatment plan teaches patients to speak loudly and with intent over four to five weeks of group and individual sessions. Following the treatment, licensed master's-level speech-language pathologists run weekly groups so that patients can maintain the ability to speak and swallow. The Vivacious Voices group targets women, the 12 Angry Men group is for upper-level men, a choral group infuses exercises with song, the Power Hour group offers one-on-one attention, and Tuesday Night Talkers works with a young onset group. Since its inception, PVP has completed more than 12,000 free treatment sessions with patients with Parkinson's disease.

Mentors pair up with children ages 6–18, who often come from low-income communities and underserved schools. Mentors learn to demonstrate a holistic concern for the children by helping them to deal with day-to-day challenges that may arise both at school and at home. The organization does not currently have enough volunteer mentors to meet demand, and must place many children on a waiting list until they can be matched with a suitable mentor. BBBS needs additional funding to expand its team of volunteers, which includes the costs of recruiting and screening new volunteers, and then training and matching them with children.
