Harbor Golf Practice Center invites clubbers to work on any aspect of their golf game within its multifaceted training grounds. Golfers can fine-tune herculean drives or short-iron approach shots at the Center’s expansive driving range, hone their stoke on the putting green, or bury misbehaving sand wedges in the practice bunker. A diverse staff of instructors utilizes the range to help guests straighten out slices in a variety of private or group lessons. The Center opens at 6 a.m. and doesn’t close until 10 p.m., seven days a week, allowing golfers to squeeze in some after-hours practice or drink in a romantic sunset with their 3-wood.:m]]
Caique Jiu Jitsu Academy's dedicated instructors foster a friendly environment while demanding the most out of their students during brazilian jiu jitsu classes. They teach an ancient form of self-defense that relies on balance, leverage, and, perhaps most importantly, discipline. The standardized curriculum and class structure are the same for youth, adult, and women-only classes. The combination of jiu jitsu, the class structure, and the motivational instructors leads to students garnering self-discipline, confidence, and self-respect. To create a sense of community, the academy also fill the calendar with special events and other classes.

LA Boxing offers fitness classes in boxing, kickboxing, and mixed martial arts. The proprietary style of the LA Boxing workout is a mixture of genuine fight training, engaging fitness, and stronger-than-earth gravity. Quasi-boxers and martial artists may burn from 800 to more than 1,000 calories during these total-body routines, which combine external inspiration with jukes, jabs, and kicks. Both men and women are welcome in the ring, where they'll learn new techniques and methods to blissfully break into a sweat in an energetic group setting. Gloves are provided during the one-month trial membership, as are a set of reusable pro-quality hand wraps and complimentary motivational mumbling from Burgess Meredith (all three subject to availability).
At Gracie Jiu-Jitsu Academy, the instructors relay the teachings of Brazilian jui-jitsu's creator, Helio Gracie, who valued leverage and timing over strength and speed. Students can learn those values during the academy's coed Gracie Combative program, which teaches 36 essential self-defense techniques. Complementing the main program are kids' programs that teach youngsters how to neutralize bullies and women-only classes that show females how to counter 15 common attacks.
