An ultramodern white loveseat sits framed by a wall decked in vinyl records and a zebra-print rug. There, a figure strikes an edgy pose. Though it might sound like a scene from a music executive's metropolitan loft at the height of the Swinging Sixties, the action plays out far closer to home. At Revolution Studios, the photo enterprise owned and operated by the husband-and-wife duo of Dan and Somer Hadley, glamour is only a costume change away. During their photography shoots, they pair individuals and couples with the scenery and inspiration to bring their inner wild things to life. Dan and Somer encourage their clients to express themselves through personal props and wardrobe choices. In addition to devising personal styles, clients can also consult with on-site hair and makeup experts.
Tina Loebach takes pride in the pictures she takes, but she finds even more satisfaction in the time she spends with her clients. Whether it's following a bride on her wedding day or catching the joy in a parent's eye as they pose with their newborn child, Tina uses her gift as a quiet observer to capture true emotions. She also applies her diverse skill set to sultry boudoir shoots, coaxing out each subject's inner pinup in the process.

In the rural community where photographer Rusty Worden grew up, locals were fond of urging one another to "cowboy up." Ever the sparkplug, Worden coined the phrase "rocker down" as a light-hearted way of expressing his own individuality. He lent the name to his business, RockerDown Studios, where he works to channel that same independent spirit into helping clients express themselves during in-studio and on-location photo shoots.
RockerDown Studios boasts a 1,500-square-foot space, complete with sets, props, and backdrops that add life to family portraits, maternity photos, and graduation pictures. Worden also packs up his kit and travels to wedding ceremonies in order to shoot video footage and snap candid photos of the bride, groom, and guests during the festivities. He also offers design service for businesses and extends some co-op studio time to photographers in need of space and chameleons that like basking on green screens.
A goofy grin. A couple of happy wedding tears. A newborn’s wonder-filled gaze. To Allison Jayne Meder, every moment is magic, and she captures the best of them through the lens of her trusty camera. She honed her skills for documenting memories while studying photojournalism at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, but it’s her lifelong passion for authenticity that allows her to recognize and freeze the most meaningful emotions. She draws out these emotions during laid-back portrait sessions for families, couples, kids, and moms-to-be. To give her photos an extra touch of the dramatic, she scouts eye-catching locales and works with exquisitely composed close-ups as well as panoramas. She also adds polish to the final product with digital retouching services, ensuring that colors pop, light softens, and least-favorite cousins are airbrushed away for flawless magazine-quality productions.
