Though the name BurgerRito sounds like a mispronunciation or perhaps indecision, it's actually an amalgam of burger and burrito. To create its signature offering, the staff wraps a burger in a tortilla, laden with cheese. The food truck adds zest to most of its menu items with their That Damm Cajan Sauce, which smothers turkey sandwiches, grilled cheese, and even salads. In tandem with the sauce, customers can request their dishes be smothered with New Mexico Hatch chili, such as the Nacho-Daddy with the green chili poured atop a bowl of Doritos. For a mix of classic American fare and mexican food, customers can order the eight-pound burgerrito: a cheeseburger wrapped up in a burrito. As an added challenge, if a customer can consumer the entire burgerrito—two 14-inch flour tortillas, 3 scoops of refried beans, and 5 quarter pound hamburger patties—the burgerrito is free.
