Sushi Bears rolls fully cooked seafood and traditional sushi rolls under the direction of Chef Dan, whose passion for healthful eats led him to hold weekly sushi-making classes at Findlay Market. Sushi Bears’ menu includes smoked-salmon philly rolls and tempura-fried sushi. Chef Dan also hosts sushi-rolling parties in private homes.

Over the Top Productions caters dessert tables for events of all sizes, brining custom-crafted candies and chocolates to sate an army of sugar-craving teeth. The caterers consult with the event's organizers to determine not only size and number of mouths to be fed, but also the color palette of the venue. They craft their custom candies – and wine and champagne pairings – to match the atmosphere. In February 2013, the caterers take on the role of full event planners, throwing a Group Wedding Event to hitch couples in style.
At The Learning Kitchen, highly trained instructors will help chop-happy visitors pick up handy tips for deft cuisine preparation. Grub-crafting students will slice, dice, and nibble-ize tongue-luring fare amid a sleek kitchen classroom. Top-notch boiling, frying, searing, and particle-accelerating equipment is on hand at 12 cooking stations as participants learn to wield quality knives and shurikens with nimble-handed dexterity. Chefs not only provide step-by-step instruction, but also teach useful chopping and sautéing techniques. A wide range of hands-on cooking classes is available, including a gnocchi workshop, neighborhood barbecue, vegetarian proteins, sushi rolling, and Thai. When dinner is done, students will sample their scrumptiously prepared meals in a sit-down dining area. Before they leave, students will receive recipe copies, saving them the trouble of scrubbing their hands free of ditto-machine wax.
Peachy Seiden, a registered dietitian with 15 years of culinary experience, has penned two books of healthy recipes designed for cooking around a busy schedule. Inside a house painted peach, she teaches groups to prepare nutritious dishes with diverse international influences, including baked penne with health-smart Bolognese and moo shu chicken with flour tortillas for wrapping or tossing like frisbees. She also ladles out health advice and leads weight-loss programs with nutritional assessments and weekly weigh-ins to track progress.
