When Christine Lulek left her professional ballet career, she searched for something to fill the void. She eventually discovered and fell in love with Pilates, particularly because the intense core workouts reminded her of the exercises she performed back in her dancing days. She worked in different studios and trained with many teachers until, in 2005, she felt ready to own her own Pilates school. She bought Fitness Dynamics Studio from its owner, moved it to a larger location so she could augment its Pilates courses with dance classes, and began sharing her lifelong love of exercise with students.
Now, six additional teachers—with certifications ranging from STOTT rehabilitative Pilates to Zumba and turbo kickboxing—join Christine to supplement her courses. Together, the team fills six days a week with high-energy fitness classes, relegating all low-energy fitness classes, such as Power Napping, to Sunday afternoons.
