Lashaune Tisdale, a graduate of the American School of Protocol, founded The Academy of Etiquette & Charm after recognizing a need for structure and civility in today's fast-changing world. Tisdale teaches kids and adults etiquette lessons on topics including formal dining, personal grooming, and public speaking. She offers lessons for individuals or groups, using curricula that incorporate verbal instruction and presentations with worksheets, arts and crafts, and hands-on, pinkies-up practice.
Tisdale's Darling Young Ladies program—a spinoff of her prepageant program—promotes a positive self-image and better social skills. Her Elite Hostess classes help party planners to hone cooking skills, set elegant tables, and turn any conversation into a friendly "soda" versus "pop" debate.
Renew Natural Weight Loss Center’s staff not only empowers clients with the knowledge they need to achieve and sustain weight loss, but does so with a detailed plan. A weight-loss coach meets with clients every week to evaluate progress, offer encouragement, and keep clients accountable as they progress through their program. The bedrock program that the center revolves around includes recenter, which starts with a one-hour health assessment before a month or more spent learning to eat a balanced diet of real food; and renew, which aims to keep weight off permanently and explore naturopathic pathways to better health. To ensure that their physician-guided plan is working effectively, the coaches have clients take at-home tests that determine if their bodies are correctly converting fat into energy or incorrectly converting it into Jet-Puffed Marshmallows. They don't tailor each plan simply around shedding pounds—they also design it to boost overall health and keep metabolisms up and running consistently.
During your two personal training sessions, one of ZX Fitness’ experienced personal trainers will work with you to assemble exercises that help you best accomplish your fitness goals, be they tightening your core, shedding extra pounds, improving muscular strength, or picking winning bingo cards. Then you’ll be let loose to use your newfound knowledge and six-week pass during all ZX Fitness group fitness classes and in its fully-loaded facility, which has cardio decks, basketball courts, free weights, large locker rooms, circuit training equipment, juice bars, a supervised children’s area, and more. Unwind after a day of sweating and stretching by watching a sports game on one of the many HDTVs, or warm your socks while dehydrating fresh prunes in the sauna.
