We specialize in personal attention and have a commitment to creating the best training for each individual. We keep our classes small so that each instructor can analyze her students and provide modifications, variations, and exercises to accommodate individual experience or training level.
Do you believe in the maxim, "No pain, no gain?? Why or why not?
No. Our goal is to instill a lifelong love of movement, dance and physical fitness in our young students. We are committed to teaching appropriate form and alignment to avoid injury or muscle imbalance, while keeping class fun and exciting.
What is a typical session of your program or class like for a student?
A typical youth class semester begins with learning or reviewing the basics in the relevant dance form, then progresses through more challenging dance exercises and choreography. A typical weekly class begins with a warm-up and stretch, movement across the floor as individuals or by twos, and ends with center floor group choreography. We encourage our students and celebrate their different personalities.

All of our youth dance instructors have degrees in dance or have many years experience teaching, performing and training. The majority of our instructors also have certifications in fitness including Pilates, yoga, personal training, and group cardio classes.

Her cardio hip-hop classes pair high-energy dance moves with infectious music, enabling students to get their heart rates up while enjoying themselves. Mel demonstrates easy-to-follow moves first, allowing slow-footed students or overeager centaurs to follow along and let loose.
